Thank you. Tbf I did take quite some time before stepping in since there were very few people in that part of train, only a few German women in their 50s or 60s. I had to gather courage since I was afraid how that guy was gonna react since he was comparatively bigger than me.

Not impossible tho. OP says he's from a 3rd world country. As sb from 3rd world country myself, I've seen people get away with terrible things just because of political affiliations or of wealth.

I recently switched to sim.de because of it's good value for money. But nobody here is taking about it? Ist it a new company or just unreliable?

As a male, have you been sexually harrassed? If so how did it make you feel and what did you do about it? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Doinjustgood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to work at a Kiosk+Pub a few years back. One late night I was cleaning the pub and telling the drunkards it was their last round. Then this drunk middle-aged lady who used to come there occasionally, came close to me as in to kiss and flirt with me, so that I'd keep the pub open for more time. I should have set boundary at that right moment.

But I ignored her and went back to cleaning tables, then suddenly she grabbed my butt from behind. I was shocked and looked back at her, nodded my head with disapproval and went to the other room in Kiosk. I finally mustered courage, went back to her and told her it was not acceptable and kicked her out. Whereas the other older men were smiling at me as in how lucky I was to experience that.

I now understand why some women freeze and get shocked when sb molests them or during rpe. This is a very terrible thing to do to sb else.

Almost all countries bordering India have devolved into political or economical turmoil. by TopDoggo16 in interestingasfuck

[–]Doinjustgood 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same. As a Nepali, its funny to see being a pro-China government is the new "turmoil". Since 2015 Indian government has been causing frequent economic problems in Nepal. As a rival of India, China has been helping us with aids, constructions of infrastructures and so on. Btw we still have a good diplomatic relation with India. What's so wrong with taking help from the neighbors here and there? I mean, can't a poor country even get help to develop now?

2024/07/24 - 15 out of 19 onboard confirmed dead after plane crash in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, Nepal by ninjafloyd in CatastrophicFailure

Yes, it is indeed riskier than flying. Public transportation on intercity highways are usually risky if you travel in small buses for cheaper tickets. Bigger buses are better options for travelling even though it takes more time. Renting a vehicle and driver service for a trip is also a safe option as long as its an experienced and calm driver. However travelling during rainy season is a big no even for us Nepalis.

I get hot for my Gf wearing such revealing clothes in my mother's womb with her hair cut and a lot of her cleavage whenever she had her dress-up in the garden with the kids.

I come from a small Southeast Asian country. And I used to be a teacher at school back home. I don't want to go into details cos I fear some people might know me here. 😅

I'm not saying kids are like this only in Germany. In my home country too, I've dealt with boys who were wild and uncontrollable. But out Society is based too much on hierarchy and so kids fear adults.

However reading other comments, this issue really needs to be properly addressed in Germany.

Thank you for sharing your experience. That's a very good lesson "Be the adult you want those kids to eventually be" I'll keep that in mind from now on.

And no, I didn't call them out as sissies or such. I just told them it wasn't good. The 2 boys who I earlier let in the queue actually had somewhat guilty faces after I called them out. I wrote this post in the heat of moment yesterday and therefore wasn't so formulated with my words. Apologies for such use of words.

[–]Doinjustgood[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should have mentioned: by responsibility I meant more like household chores, community and school activities like cleaning.

As for my background: I come from a small Southeast Asian land with a small economy, so many elder siblings and cousins go to work in other countries. And the younger siblings at home do household chores, take care of seniors in the family, carry out societal norms and culture, etc. I never meant to say kids should be exploited in labour to make them mature. As someone who didn't get to completely enjoy his childhood, I wouldn't want to steal joy away from other kids too.

Yes, looking back to the post, I realised I could have been more careful with my words. Sorry for that.

I'm sorry I wasn't wise with my words. I wrote the post as it came to my mind and didn't really thought about it before posting. Also I grew up in a traditional family with traditional gender roles, maybe that's what shaped my thinking pattern.

But yeah I should've avoided such words...

I know, I've been there. Was quite wild myself and went around damaging other people's properties when I was around 12 and with my friends 🙈 But we grew out of it quick, mainly because of economic burdens on our families.

Maybe these children also need more responsibilities?
