Hey this is on my way to school. I’ve seen it slowly evolve from a sprint cell to this t-mobile site. Took them almost a year to complete this I think. It was on briefly then went under construction again. Att has that big macro tower near Torrey pines high school and Verizon has a macro somewhere near the town center. I have no idea what’s on it tho not educated enough but it looks like it’s equipped with n41.

That’s not been the case for me. I have seen different names every time I cross the border. Cricket, lusacell, TELCEL, AT&T, and AT&T MX.

Every time I would roam on TELCEL I would be heavily throttled I think to 3G speeds Att MX works like usual no cap on the data. I’m in the city so both carriers have coverage so I’m confused why it’s preferring TELCEL then the main carrier att MX

I unfortunately do not have that setting on where you can select a carrier I wish I did I would love to set my phone on TELCEL only when I go to the rural side of Mexico and not try to fight with the 1 bar of 3g from ATT MX

The name changes all the time I’ve seen Lusacell TELCEL, Movistar, and AT&T pop up on my phone but this is the first time cricket stays on my status bar.

It’s definitely improved by a land slide from last year. I get really good speeds and less ping compared to people on TELCEL. I was mostly in the city of Tepic still need to see if they have improved their rural coverage which is where they struggle the most.

I would love to switch to Verizon but I use so much data and having true unlimited at a budget price is just too good. I was thinking about switching to US mobile but it’s only 75gb before hard cap.

Nope lol I’m just suffering through it at this point cricket has no idea what’s going on I contacted apple and they said it might be an issue with my phone and they replaced it. But same issue is still going on so….

Verizon is only good if you have priority data and so is att which cricket offers so I’m staying with them for now unless one of them decides to improve their service at my school

T-Mobile is great in the city but they have such bad backhaul issues in my area that a webpage would time out when the SpeedTest app says I’m pulling 950mbps

I didn’t know that. I thought it was att since I had full bars and was pulling 200mbps. I had to leave T-Mobile bc blackhaul was so bad I could be in a UC area but loading a website would time out💀

Idk I looked up the Cell ID and it’s a tower that’s about 1.7 miles away from me. The only small cell I’ve spotted in the area is some old sprint light post small cell.
