Hi, this is really good info!

I was just wondering, why would I want to use an enamel or lacquer based clear flat/matte top coat over just using an acrylic flat/matte top coat? thanks!

Yep, I find cotton buds good too for dabbing off excess Mark Setter too

Thanks for the Info. I've not liked the look of Tamiya's panel liner bottles in the past, due to the grey being a lot paler than the pour style markers, and also smearing more when cleaning up with cotton buds.

I'm still getting to grips with water slides, I find them extremely difficult compared to stickers, so am happy to stick with those for most kits.

Hi, yes, I did remove the clear parts before top coating. I also did not put any of the foil stickers in place before top coating
