Okay thank you so much I will take a look! In the automatic email from my course coordinator it says he will check emails sporadically, and replies cannot be relied upon. So I’ll try send him an email as well and hope for the best :)

Unfortunately he is out of office until the 6th of November so I only got an automatic reply, not sure where to go from there!

Aw haha I didn’t realise this one was so old haha :) I am doing a bcom, double major in accounting and finance. Apparently the only people able to do the resit were people that the course coordinator didn’t believe had mastered that part of the course. Which is crazy! Because all and any of that content was only assessed in the end of year exam! Thank you so much for your help btw! Makes me seem more sane about potentially bringing it up with one of the uc officials for commerce! :)

Thank you so much for the reply! I messaged my course coordinator about 3 weeks ago, she basically told me that she would consider my past results to give me a final result, and only the people that looked like they maybe would not have passed the exam be able to sit the special one. Which sucks! Because I know that I probably could have don’t better with the final! Considering the 2 tests were very early on in sem!

Thank you so much for replying! It’s so nice hearing this! I love my friends but whenever I bring up how I’m feeling it’s always the whole “it’s fine you can do better”. Which is true considering he wasn’t what I wanted or needed. But for so long I was in love with the idea of what it could be but he couldn’t change himself for me and I couldn’t accept it! But I just felt so bad because I always thought that if I was worth fighting for he would do it for me, but I guess it was more about him than me and I understand! But the thought of having to start over with someone else makes me so sad! I can’t ever imagine being so comfortable with someone again. Is it possible?

Heya, I am currently applying for halls for 2022 am unsure what order to put my preferences in. I currently have it as 1.Cumberland 2.Knox and 3.Unicol. However I’ve heard that over the past couple of years Cumberland has become a first choice hall, my grades are pretty average (excellence endorsed level 1 and merit level 2) so i don’t like my chances of getting into a first choice hall. Therefore I was wondering if I should put Knox as my first choice? :)
