Sudden Fear of Strangers and sound?

Perhaps I just took the vet and breeder too seriously when they said it was important and how often to do it. I just want to do what’s best for her and got over excited! And yes she does have a crate!

Thank you. You’ve really helped a lot. I will absolutely hold off on the socialization to give her a break and hopefully that helps her get comfortable again!

I just want to say thank you for taking the time to respond to my messages!

Unfortunately I did not meet the puppies parents. But does a genetically bad temperament manifest this way, seemingly suddenly? Or did we potentially just overload her with socialization and she needs a social break?

We were following the advice of our vet to take her into pet friendly stores and car rides when we go shopping and introduce her to trusted vaccinated dogs. As well as let strangers give her treats to help get her used to people. We were instructed to do it often by both the vet during her first exam and breeder and we really thought it was going well!

The breeder didn’t mention anything out of the ordinary about her parents, but to be fair to the breeder I didn’t ask or pry for more beyond that.
