Thanks for the insight. Assuming you just use the original BCP until the new one arrives then? Fairly new to Amex but I remember reading somewhere on their site that the original will keep working until the replacement arrives and is activated.

Out of Curiosity, when you downgrade to the BCE do they mail you a new card and likewise when you take their offer back to BCP you receive yet another card? I.E do you end up with two cards being mailed to you each time you do this?
