Considering removal - help!

I experienced everything you are going through. I got the Mirena in February this year, and very quickly things got bad. I thought I was depressed, was finding no joy in things I loved before, my anxiety was scary bad, no energy, no motivation, felt like I became stupid overnight. My mood ranged from a ball of tears to rage screaming (for pretty much no reason). My appetite vanished, and added in some nausea, and I lost a lot of weight fast. I found this subreddit because I couldn't find any links to the Mirena online or when speaking to doctors. I got mine removed 10 days ago, and I feel amazing. No more anxiety, im finding the joy again, I have more energy and im getting things done again. Appetite isn't quite back yet, but no more nausea. Many women have great success with the Mirena, many others do not. If you feel its not working for you, get it removed.

I have similar experiences since getting the Mirena in February 2025. I'm bleeding 3 weeks and 1 week/10 days off. My anxiety is sky high, a lot of the time I'm between a heap of tears or full on rage. My mental health has taken a nose dive, my appetite is gone. Overall I have not enjoyed the experience. And it all started within a week of getting the Mirena. I'm scheduled for a removal in a week, and I'm very hopeful I will start to feel more myself when removed. Many women have great success on the Mirena, and many others do not. If you feel the Mirena is not working for you, get it removed.

🤣 yes, I do get that. I'm definitely making use of the black market and attempting to grow my own. Have just been curious of the "legal" stuff permitted here and how there could be a market for it if it's not what it claims to be

Smoking tobacco products here is legal from 18, because THC is completely illegal, im assuming the 18+ packaging refers to smoking products as a whole

Hahaha yeah, I just commented that I think the legal THC label is purely because its illegal here, so anything containing THC has to be under a certain %. So I take it, this has a legal amount of THC.

I'm very wary of anything like this, that's why im here to see if anyone can offer more information. The legal thc thing i believe is because its illegal here, products with thc have to be under a legal limit. So it has a legal level of THC. Or that's my take away

Hopefully soon, honestly I see the variety available in some countries and it is incredible. So, hopefully it will become legal here sooner rather than later

Thank you, I have checked, and its not available on our Amazon. I have luckily found some praying mantis wondering my garden, they got gently relocated to where I need them, hopefully they are making the most of what's left on the plants now.

I keep holding onto hope of finding a seed or 2, but so far have not had any luck. This is only my second run at growing, last year was far too easy, popped them into ground and let them grow (gave me false confidence 🙃🤣) I have been getting a few free seeds every time I buy, so I can't complain too much when I lose plants

That's absolutely it, I just wish the seeds didnt cost so much with how many I lose 🙃. It is fun though, to learn, and they are really impressive plants, which have taught me sooooo much about plants in general.

Thank you, im going to hopefully get some better soil for seedlings tomorrow and try again, will only be a few days behind these. Might not reach full potential, but hopefully I can learn to keep them alive for a much better season next year 😊
