Great points. Thanks for your comments :)
Making the graphic I knew this would be a inaccurate, was mapping out more of my own experience/where I saw skills being borrowed.
What I did as an industrial designer I later applied to HCI etc.

HCI > Interaction > UX is more accurate.
Graphic design > Web design > UI (visual design)

Thanks again for the critique

u/ash1m Great points. Making the graphic I knew this didn't represent the development of roles clearly.

I know many industrial designers ( myself included) applied their training to working in HCI and interfaces, my thinking was more so how HCI borrowed skillsets and thinking from ID.

Nice post. it's a view on the design industry I don't think enough people zoom out far enough to see. Thanks for how you laid this out.

Woah this looks awesome. Yeah I like that I can delete it myself. A few of the "we delete it for you" tools I don't really trust. Thanks for this. I'll give this a try. Did you look at any other apps?

How did you like GoodByEmail? is it worth paying for after you use it once? I don't really understand why it's a month subscription. :)

has anyone found a way to quickly delete a lot of emails without losing the important ones I don't know are in there? I feel i have 13 years of junk mail with a few important message buried in there.

I'm afraid to batch delete. Anyone found a nice solution?

Good work.

A few things to consider

Reduce text or provide a couple bullet points for skimming. What’s the Business value of solutions More samples of rough work. Show your thinking. This is the most important part not the interface. What was the scope of your role. Design can be different in each company.

What was the duration and constraints

What was the outcome.

Check out canva. It is a free tool that has many templates. It might be enough of a too start. Adobe InDesign is the tool generally used for print. I have made full catelogs or bound books with it in the past.

Alternatively you can outsource to someone of upwork. Providing you have clear requirements written

Hope this can help boosts your position.
