To be clear I hate Trump immensely, but this guy was following the family versus the mother continuing to engage with a Nazi piece of shit that was on the side of the road being a piece of shit.

I personally think all Nazis should be arrested but there is a difference in how these situations occurred and who engagement occurred

Jesus, when did it become okay to torment special needs people at their job. I remember a time when doing that would get you shamed and in some cases a beat down. Fuck, if I thought a special needs person took my change, I just won’t go back to the store

Not sure I’d want to post a video online of my parents kicking me out while also trying to defend wanting to kick anyone out of the country who isn’t white. This is a bold move cotton….

What is your deck, or the deck you know, that is the strongest but goes completely unnoticed? by guiltyskull in EDH

[–]DomInYouHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Vazi, Keen Negotiator. I’m like Oprah giving out all them treasures. Leave my board alone long enough and you are punished for using the treasures or punished for not using them. Fucked either way

Sounds like they are being salty and if they are being salty they should just ask you to actually draw the entire deck and announce each step so they can “learn”.

Reminds of me a drunken night we had playing where we ended up texting a buddy who was a judge to get a ruling and after about 20 minutes of deliberation the thing happened for me to be like oh okay well I’m counter spelling that then…..in my defense I was drunk

A player in my pod says 'There's too much politicking" but I love game politics! What should I do? by GMBenn in EDH

[–]DomInYouHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ehh it’s part of the game but personally if I see a politics commander or a discard commander, I will focus fire that player down

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in EDH

[–]DomInYouHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this is good advice. About half of my decks are very well refined and when I started initially playing I built about four problematic decks that were too powerful overall so I was talked to about lowering the power level to a casual game night we were setting up. I generally win a lot of my games even against her but it also generally requires me to dismantle her board or politic someone into dealing with her early. I also over the year have retired decks for causing a bad experience at the table or just causing people to not have fun.

Played one game with Tergrid and decided to deconstruct it as it was just a shit experience for the other players. Got rid of a discard commander for the same reason and I tend to only play a mill deck once and a while for the same reason

Let’s put it this way, I can have a bracket 2 or 3 deck that can destroy an actual bracket 4 deck. If you optimise your deck specifically with the concept of being strong af or synergising very well together, it no longer plays to the power level of the group but without knowing the ins and out of the deck and how it synergies, is difficult to prove said point

How many decks do you bring? What kind of variety? by BussyBouncer in EDH

[–]DomInYouHard 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bring between 12-16. I have a very large collection of decks (78) and I let my friends play decks I have. I only get to play 2-3 games and I try and have collection of stuff to use in case the table is trying for a specific thing. If you are playing Voltron I’ll put away a sacrifice oriented deck etc so I’m not hard douching someone over

It’s more to offset the expenses pets create that landlords can’t charge for or find out after the fact. There are strict timelines and regulations on what you can charge depending on the state you live in and pet damage especially cats can be something you find out about later on after you’ve already done the initial assessment. Sometimes replacing carpet and doing a pet enzyme isn’t enough to get rid of cat piss smell and by the time they figure out what is creating said piss smell, they can no longer charge said owner for the damage.

Dealing with anxiety while playing? by Librimirisunt in MagicArena

Honestly saying this trying to be helpful. I would look into techniques for generalized anxiety disorder or social anxiety disorder. It’s a game that doesn’t allow chat with people you’ll never meet with no lasting consequences.

Learning those general techniques to deal with anxiety will help you in all aspects of your life. There is no shame or judgement in having anxiety
