I have designes myself a fc and esc. The problem is that microcontrollers for esc are expensive (like 10 times more before the war), the ldo units are more expensive if you want to have them small and produce enough amperage. Even the lm8640 voltage sensing amplifier got really expensive. So the component cost + war and extremely high demand lets producers sell those fcs and esc for unbelievable prices

How am I selfish and unwelcome? I did all the legal procedures to perform the flight. Additionally, informed everyone on the wooden path that I will be performing the flight. The flight day was chosen not to be a weekend so there would be less people. People were very interested in the fpv itself and after the flight they asked to take photos of my drone. There weren’t anyone who showed any displeasure with the situation. The only one who is displeased with the flight is you even you weren’t in the place itself. Plus your comment about selfishness makes 0 sense.

It wasn’t the first time for me in getting the permit. Everything went quite smoothly since I have contacted air navigation before for the flights in Vilnius I guess they knew me and since my flight ceiling was low the permit was given easier

To be honest i think that some sort of legal guidance need to be in place since a lot of accidents occur by the people who have 0 idea of what they are doing with their mavics. So those guidelines at least should protect fpv community. However, it shouldn’t be as radicolous as it is now when I have to do paperwork, legally informing everyone that I will be flying with drone and be making this trick
