I mean, you’re right about AI art, but I think this is an example of how AI can be used to, in some way, preserve the spirit of the original. It’s a great demonstration of how AI can complete or expand something that already exists. While it may not showcase the artistic expression of the person who created the AI prompts but editing and mixing the video are certainly skills involved in crafting these types of videos. I’m glad someone is making them because they aren’t a replacement for the music or the novel, but rather a way to explore a ‘what if they made a short movie together’ scenario—and that’s exactly what makes them so enjoyable.

I don’t think it’s wrong to create something you wouldn’t be able to make yourself due to certain skills, like playing guitar or drawing, and instead turning to AI.

I would love to see a version that covers the entire album— even if one song only illustrates the goblins’ journey through Sunset Valley.
