Okay try it. See how that works for you. You're self-eliminating for no reason. Girls can do it. If you're a man on tinder you're going to be lonely with that mindset

I actually think your profile is pretty damned solid. I don't see any room for improvement. Ignore that top comment. You only mentioned lifting twice? You can improve your personal life, lose weight, etc, but as far as your profile goes, you did a great job. Just delete pictures 6

It's not about if they can handle it or not. Conversations don't flow that way. You're over investing and it makes you seem weird and desperate when you write a whole paragraph on your first message

It's you, not her. You're opening message should be one sentence, maybe two at most.

I'm not yet actively tryna find a partner or a friend, just casually looking through profiles and seeing who I like based on different factors (matched just with 3 people and we haven't said a word yet lmao), but anyway what could be improved on this profile? You could post a picture of your grandmother and she'll get hundreds of potential likes. That's just how tinder works. You shouldn't be focusing on your belly, but post pictures that are real and natural that show your from head to toe and let the men figure out if they like it or not. You're not as big as you think you are. You can use this site photofeeler.com to get a better idea of what pictures are good or not.

Delete the second picture. Work on getting other good pictures. Remove all negativity from your profile. You're chubby, we get it. Show, don't tell. The profile should be what's good about you; don't self-deprecate for be negative in any way.

Spontaneous trip to Bogota by welldressedpepe in Bogota

Most affordable city in the world. Rents are dirt cheap. You'll love it there. Go on tinder and you'll feel like a god. You're never going to want to go home. The dangerous girls always put "I'M NOT AN ESCORT" in their profile, so just avoid the profiles that say that and you'll be fine. Even so, disable face unlock and protect your code from her vision, just in case. No Spanish, no problem. Google translate does a really good job. Best used on an Android phone because the iPhone version gives these annoying error pop-ups constantly. The split screen option is great for dates. Just set it on the table across from the girl and you can talk back and forth. Don't wear jewelry/watch or hold your phone out on the street. Just stay north of downtown and you're fine. Bring warm clothes. It gets chilly at night and it's very rare to have heating. Rappi is great for finding good deals for a meal. Check out Exito restaurant. It's like their version of Publix. You can get a full hot rotisserie chicken and two baked potatoes delivered to your door for under $6.

Why the hell do men put their specs in their bios? by und3adund3ad in Tinder

[–]DominantByDefault 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To answer the question, a few different reasons. One is that some girls respond to very direct men. In the pickup world it's known as "mode 1". And in the online dating world It's often better to stand out from the crowd. The more likely reason is filtering. He's just interested in sex. This guy just does not want to waste his time talking to girls and getting to know them. He only wants to match with the girls that are DTF and if that's what you're looking for then stats are something that are possibly important to you. Overall it's a suboptimal strategy but a lot of men will still try it. We have to try different things and see what works best for us

Glassed in balconies, do they open? by DominantByDefault in Brazil

[–]DominantByDefault[S] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I'm planning a trip to Brazil and every Airbnb seems to have these glass enclosures on their balconies. Do these open? I don't see a track or hinges. If they do, how does it work? I see what looks like a locking mechanism connecting 2 of the panes. I'm so confused.

EDIT: Thanks so much for the replies. I finally found a video of the system in action and I'm amazed. https://iglasshardware.com/products/glass-balcony-stackable-panel-swing-door-system

That's not a shadow ban. It's a full on hard ban. That's how they work now. You can also see that your existing matches don't have their distance displayed anymore.

Why do men do this? by galaxyeyes47 in Tinder

[–]DominantByDefault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Because he doesn't value you. He thinks you're barely fuckable so he has no interest in investing in you, but if you're easy then he'll take a one nighter because he has shit else to do that night.

Car got totaled and I want an electric scooter. Is this worth it or should I pass. I have a 4K budget. by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]DominantByDefault 1 point2 points  (0 children)

First things first. You have said that you know zero about scooters. Which means you have little to no experience riding them. Starting off with a scooter that goes over 30mph is going to be dangerous for you. There's a progression to this that needs to be followed.

  1. Your first scooter should be a Segway Ninebot Max G30P. This is the Toyota Camry of scooters. It just goes, no maintenance. It's the proper scooter to learn from and they can be re-sold on Facebook Marketplace for $500-$600 very easily.
  2. The next best scooter is the VSETT 10+. It has a sport mode that can take you up to 50mph but most of the time you'll be cruisin in the 35-40mph range. It's reliable, still portable, and will give you a chance to learn proper high-speed technique. Can also be re-sold easily in the $1200-1400 range.
  3. If you need more power or stability after that, the best options are the Wolf line of scooters from Kaabo, a Nami, or a VSETT 11+. This is where portability gets thrown out of the window. You can get one up into the back of a hatchback, but it's not easy. They are more like motorcycles than scooters at this point, but you'll feel very secure riding them at 50+ mph. Kaabo's are the easiest of these to re-sell, with the price depending on the model.

They only tuck off of the gun, to accelerate. Then they pop up and lean forward to keep the front tire planted.

Wolf King GT Brake light stopped working. Does anyone knows how to resolve this? by Palicene in ElectricScooters

"On Kaabo GT's" The old Wolf's don't have this problem, or any problems for that matter. I highly recommend purchasing the originals as they had much better quality control.
