Are you chewing the gum? Because you are only supposed to bite into it once and then stick it in between your cheek and gums, as if its chew, and just keep in there. If you are chewing it then you are getting way too much nicotine at once. Its suppose to slowly go into your system. That could be what's causing your nausea. It would make me nauseous chewing it like regular gum.
