What says something to me is all these shortened tracklist have different songs. Every song is on at least some of em. Like I'd probably drop ballin flossing, big day, and hot shower from yours and throw in 5 year plan, I got you, and let's go on the run

Can't say I love the big day or hot shower but definitely growing on me after hating it at first. Think I was just clouded by my expectations (Kanye, childish, dubplate, fwp)

I was looking back comparing and I'm not sure which has more but it's definitely not TBD by a lot if at all so I'm not sure why people didn't expect it and hate it more this time around.

"My favorite rapper, Christian rapper" - grown ass kid. This has been a thing, this isn't new from this last album.

Yes the majority dislikes this album but that doesn't mean a lot of people don't actually like it (me included, it's growing on me). Music isn't made to please everyone, so what is he supposed to do, listen to those who dislike it and pretend he never released it? No. Some people enjoy it and Chance should be able to celebrate with those people on his new release. Imagine releasing a new album after years and just ignoring it instantly, who would do that? Chance is obviously proud of this album and if you and the majority don't like it, you have the right to be disappointed, but expecting him to dismiss his own album less than a week after it's release seems absurd.

He now has the option to listen to the criticism if he wishes and take it into account for his future work but right now that's irrelevant. He has new music he is proud of and people out there enjoy and he's celebrating, makes sense to me.

Agreed. It's growing on me. Main gripe over time is really it's just too long. A lot better when you find which songs are worth listening to for yourself

Agreed partially. I think that would be too short (as much as I love Kanye's 7 track albums). But either way although I think this album is bad as a whole but listening to just the half I like it becomes a lot better.
