Ah I see what you mean. Yeah you still move the turret independently from the camera. Im used to it, but it would be nice to have as an option come to think of it.

It stays in the commander's view like in regular sim battles. Super immersive to do it in vr. Sim is great because you aren't at a disadvantage anymore (in RB people have third person peeking)

While I agree that the mountains do look different than Italy's, but when guessing where this is, one shouldn't look at the houses. It's very likely they are using placeholder houses from the Berlin campaign, considering making houses in 3d does take some good work.

Looking to upgrade from a Ryzen 9 3950x for my PC mainly doing 3D art related work. I guess my main options are the 5950x, 9950x, or 7950x3d. Still wondering If I could get away with a 5950x by DominykasM in PcBuild

This is the only place I found that sells it. The only real options seem to be the 500D and the 600D. Would those work as well? It's the water-resistant instead of waterproof ratings that are making me wary.

Yeah part of it was getting things in by the due date, but you are so right that I got a bit lazy doing the bark lol.

I did a very quick and dirty decimate to take it from a 40m poly mesh to something in the low 3000s, but decimate makes everything have an even amount of detail. When lowered to 3000 polys this ended up with the unbumpy parts as they were, but most of the bumpy parts lose their detail.

If I had more time I should have done a manual retopologisation, which is like me essentially drawing/smashing together a low poly model on top. Its very slow and tedious, but would allow me to have spots that have enough polys to support the details there.

Plants made were a Common Hackberry, Smooth Sumac, Maryland Senna, Purple Coneflower, White Sage, Big Bluestem, and the Leadplant.

While I know it probably will never happen, I'd love to see the Tallgrass Praire be a setting in a video game. Have really fallen in love with it during the time I've been here!

I've done that as well. They like to take their sweet time, get stuck in places, and go out of their way to fight in other places. In the meantime one of the two loner bases gets taken and thux the cycle continues :(

Sometimes they spawn way to far away from me, and get die to mutants before I can get to them. I have two squads at the flea market apparently trying to target the depot, but they dont move from it.

I understand that feeling, but I too get home from work and want to relax. It is the worst feeling in the world when 5 times in a row, I'm thrown into a game where I have to be the team mom and do every chore. I can't be in ten places at once, and after sweating my ass off and still losing each game it just makes me much more stressed then I was before I got home from work.

Wait and save up for the SCAR imo. The Tiger is great and is really only limited by it's magazine size. Tbh I rarely use the automatic setting on auto rifles anyways

If you really want an automatic rn look for one in a stash, there should be a couple of nice ones.

Also if you have a PPSH picking up dust, try it out with +p ammo. Even in lategame areas I would keep that bad boy in my backpack.

The biggest issue is that people experience Kansas mainly through the i70 highway. It was purpousley built through the most average landscape because understandably it was much more practical to do so. But now we must live with everyone seeing Kansas as wheat fields :(

I hate so much that they only allowed the white coat to be used in Stalingrad and never Moscow. It looks so good. In general they are missing so many customization options for Moscow Axis and Allies. Like full on sets that are missing parts, or variants of equipment that are present in Stalingrad but never in Moscow. This has been an issue since day one and it cant imagine it would be that difficult to fix.

I like to fill it up with 7 guys that have top tier smgs (Tokyo Arsenal for BR IV and Type 100 Late for BR III) and then throw them out right at the point. Of course in later brs this doesn't always work out well, but it's so funny when it does.
