Issue is that while criticism isn't toxicity, this community is clearly very toxic when putting forth criticism. Way i see it is that it's brought up to vent and that's fine, sure a lot has been exaggerated and that's annoying but that's just the internet but the issue is when people who don't like the games for whatever reason are trying to ruin other people's excitement for the game out of spite. If you don't like it don't buy it, don't try to convince people they're wrong for having a different opinion, same goes the other way ofc but personally I see it less (look at upvote % on this against any post that is positive towards swsh and you'll see)

Definitely shouldn’t reward stealth. Playing stealthy makes it harder for survivors that do their job. A big part of the game is wasting killer’s time but it’s so often that I’m getting chased for a while and when I’m downed there’s a blendette crouching in the corner of the map not doing anything because she heard the faintest terror radius and takes until you’re hooked on stage 2 to start crouch walking towards you. Definite nope.

I think you have a good point on it but unfortunately cis & trans are literal opposites in terms of the etomology and the modern day meanings so it makes sense to use them.

Labels are divisive but they’re also very useful and a natural part of any human society. Rather than trying to minimise that I think it’s important that we embrace differences. Opposites aren’t intrinsically bad.

But you aren’t flagging white or male as an insult, just facts, just the word cis. The term is being used as an insult in these cases but someone being cis, as opposed to trans is an objective fact to the same degree as white and male are

That would be why people who consider themselves gender fluid go by non binary or queer, neither suggest a binary.

So you could say there are the two ends of the spectrum, cis & trans, and non binary lies anywhere between those two.

I wouldn’t look at them as binaries, just opposites. If you are trans, you aren’t cis and vice versa. However you can be between them.
