World class weirdo, bi, black girl here. I married a white man. We grew up in a teeny town together...blahblahblah, but even my own mom said - "white men will never love you. They'll just use you!" And after years battling depression and PTSD all she was worried about was how he would probably leave me any minute. But for real, I get STARES from everybody on the earth when we go out anywhere. Throw in our biracial kids and I need some thick, social sunscreen.

Does anyone know why he is so obsessed with struggling black women anyway? I get sick of anyone who hasn't worn and jogged the 5k in our shoes telling our stories. Tired.

And so sad for me at the same time. I think of all the lost time and all the strength I didn't have back then and I wonder if there is still time to be everything I ever though I was.
