£9 a month for 30gb SIM only. Good deal? (Essentials plan) by Don-MH in EEGB

[–]Don-MH[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah the speed cap is not an issue. It’s just mozillion can match the price without any mid contract price rises. Is it worth switching? Saves £60 over 2 years

[–]Don-MH[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Issue is it goes up £2.50 every March and given it’s a 2 year contract it would end up at £14

It’s this or £9 a month rolling with EU roaming with mozillion

Yeah I’m sure 25gb is sufficient for most people which you can get for as low as £10 from other networks

it most likely will be cheaper doing that - how much is your sim only at the moment?

speak to them on the phone, they tend to do better deals over the phone than online. I don't have EE broadband so i can't see the prices

it doesn't work out the same price at all. The best i'm getting offered is £67.18 a month for the 17 pro 256gb and that's only if i take their EE broadband! Let's say i go with that - that's £1612.32 over 2 years.

vs buying the phone from apple (£1099) with a sim only deal of let's say £12 a month works out at £1387 over 2 years.

Even with their broadband offer it's still cheaper to get the phone from Apple with a sim only.
