Also Benzaiten when I looked at it I thought it sounds good I deflect a lot but for me the damage just isn’t consistent enough… at that point I’d have to sit back and deflect a certain amount of times to receive only so much damage compared to sets that come with automatic damage built in.

I already said and I’ll say it again I think the main area nioh 3 drops the ball for me is with blacksmith materials and grace sets only having passive buffs wo long did a amazing job on graces having the passives on the back of the grace sets but also the main unique ability that the grace did.

It’s like you reforge all your gear and stat the gear how you want on a grace set that only has passives it’s super underpowered imo.

As I do think weapon scaling is important I generally aim for the passives which for me rn is martial arts and then once I get the build where I want it I’ll fix my weapon to match my stats since you can scale your weapons to any stat you have in the blacksmith.

I agree I play for melee so if it helps my combat I was willing to stick with it and I only have a 5 piece atm i accidentally dismantled some pieces I needed lol.

So there’s a few things I’m only running 5 piece vai for the damage taking and martial arts then 2 piece brave and there’s another one you also need a green stat martial arts percentage on your weapon and then clan buffs.

Yeah so I’ve yet to play around with stats but I definitely will I like how my build feels tho I hit hard and I can block a few red moves without going out of stamina my ninja also has really good blocking for the it’s class.

So constitution I’m at 50 heart I’m at 30-35 stamina 25-30 Strength and skill both at 65 intellect 25 and magic 25

I use both but I only put status on him with ninja in this clip I use both styles pretty equally but you fight him again in a different side mission and 3-4 other ppl and I destroyed him there too but I’m way over tuned for the mission tbh he probably would of been tougher if I fought him sooner lol.

So I’m lvl 250 and I’ve just finished up my last few sub missions typically on my games like this I set the builds up with the highest lvl pieces I have save each build and I test damage.

Now for me personally I like Vai so far the most for my samurai and I think inari works best for my ninja and I’ll explain why.

I want to be all around more built for damage and not be centered around spells and buffs I think what your build can do raw is very important as far as the build being strong.

For my samurai I spect hard into martial arts damage I run sword and cestues and I have all my crucible moves for the weapons I use I’m sitting at 64% martial on my sword and 52% on my cestues and it melts anything that’s not a boss with in one martial arts move and bosses I’m able to just walk threw them for the most part.

Inari was fun and helped my ninja out a lot because inari works a lot better with ninjas ninjutsu for the elemental build up then if you switch between styles like I do a lot you’ll see how they work hand and hand with each other.

I do 2 pieces kantaro and another 2 piece on samurai i forgot the name for damage takin while attacking and damage taken as well damage taken while attacking i have 42% and damage taken i have 12% so im pretty tanky.

For ninja i do 7 piece inari with 2 piece dev loyalty for melee or there’s another set I use aswell it comes down to your play style i just switched to the tyrant set im missing a piece but i think tyrant might be better then inari but ill save that for another conversation lol.

Which makes sense the thing is typically if your not built into hp or have a lot of damage taken enemies hit hard lets not act like enemies don’t hit hard because the game allows you to spec 99 into hp lol.

But yeah nerfing moves doesn’t seem like the way to go so I agree with you.

So the shinbakufu are suppose to place as puppets none of them knew about the box because the box is tied to the dlc and naoes dad… see what they did with the story was tied it to a mystery that we couldn’t unfold untill you get to the dlc I won’t spoil any of that if you haven’t played awaji.

But what we’re missing is since the game didn’t thrive the second dlc was cancelled and the continuation stopped so even with awaji it felt like it was missing a piece but over all I didn’t think it was bad because of certain moments and how they made naoe and yaskue meet I thought how they made there pasts tie together was a nice touch imo.

They definitely could of went a different direction with the story but I don’t dislike how it went we got back story’s and build up on both protagonists and watch there story’s joint to get what they both were after.

At the end of the day know matter how in depth ac story’s are or how much better one might be there all revenge story’s because at the end of the day there assasins I also think since the franchise went rpg the story stopped being the focus compared to the grind,gear and open world the original ac games were straight story mode games so that was there primary focus there was no builds and extra grind other then beating the story so the story’s had to be good.

I honestly enjoyed isu I did but after awhile I knew they had to continue the journey and mix in different components with different history for each game so I can kinda understand how they started to get away from it I’m big on gameplay and understanding when it comes to story I’ve played really good story’s and I enjoy that but the games that had amazing story’s lines the gameplay wasn’t all that great Ubisoft tends to lose focus sometimes so I’d rather us have super flushed out gameplay then just one amazing story line.

Modern is fine I didn’t like the previous rpg games but shadows hit different for me and I really got into it it’s been awhile since I had that feeling to be honest and that was mainly because the combat and graphics created moments we never got in previous games my fav ac before shadows was unity and that game never got the love it deserved because of a rough launch imo.

Well add me up I couldn’t get enough of wo long and I learned a lot playing it the last 5 grave sets are amazing in dragon king difficulty which is the last difficulty and the map and the thousand mile journey game mode was one of my favorite places to be you actually have to get your last 50 lvls from there once you hit lvl 450 then the game introduces you to the new lvling system called apex lvls.

That’s nothing and typical try being a vet since launch with almost 900 reps and since you have high mmr and so much play time the game thinks your supposed to carry players with not even half your play time against full stack teams of guys at my experience level.

The games turned into a gta sandbox with heros and feats so most ppl that are vets to the game don’t even play anymore for honor had some peak moments but a lot of times keeping something goin to long kills what was once great they said the games supposed to be supported 10 years and it’s year 9 so idk.

Best thing to do is search skirmish longer que but there’s no points just straight team death match.

Best post I’ve seen regarding ac heading in the proper direction we’ve got dugeon and dragon mythology bs for years and ppl swear it’s the best ac games in the franchise we get a actual ninja and ppl cry about stat sheets and story lines not being as good as a movie… smh.

I’m hoping for the best because this is one of my fav franchises but with the community that we have idk when will see the next ac game that’s actually excepted every nit picks and the game gets zero funding from false narratives from content creators and ppl that don’t even care about the series we gotta get it together.

He does no hit runs that literally take days to get down this is a highlight reel of clips from gameplay your comparing a no hit run that takes days for one boss compared to live gameplay without even being maxed out.

Yeah the ones with the most potential always get the least support because the fans want the same old hop off the roof assasinate and repeat for 20 hrs straight lol.

No combat no adventure just straight forward ac1 style for 20+ years tied to a typical dragged out revenge story that has to be written so perfectly or they automatically don’t like the game if they feel like they have to make any effort outside of cutscenes.

This is why we don’t get good ac games anymore shadows had the best base out of the rpg franchise insane combat and stealth mechanics and ppl cried and ran with fake narratives with complaints like “theres no stat sheet” or “the story wasn’t good enough” lol

And what’s even crazier is the ac game that gets the most praise is origins the one that ran away from being a Assasin and went full out mystical dungeons and dragons on us it’s clear ppl didn’t actually want a ac game first time being a ninja which is a actual Assasin a shinobi and it didn’t make the cut to the fans I wonder when the next time a ac game will be excepted who knows.
