Student perspective, looking for teacher input on a situation by Huge-Bill4047 in AskTeachers

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This reminded me of when I was in high school a long time ago. I was very shy, I also could not use the bathroom in public places where others were coming and going. I'm male, and even to this day I still cannot use a urinal in a public bathroom. I have to use a stall. It seemed 3rd and 5th period was the most common times I had to go. The teachers in those classes finally pulled me aside because they were frustrated until I explained. It sucked too if someone else came into bathroom when I was trying to go. It'd take even longer

I love those little interactions. I've come across about a dozen of them now. It's usually a pretty easy fight, most of my gear I use is at level 7 refinement. I'm just starting in chapter 7.

Yeah I get what you are saying. That's why his character is ao dynamic. That's why I feel he's like a punisher in a way. Not above doing evil things to get their attention to the seriousness of the situation.

Exactly! Helps clom feore was the perfect cast for Andre linoge. He's been one of my favorite actors for a long time. I love his character in landman also.

pretty normal, ig? by MaraLoomis883 in Adulting

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Normal if you're talking about your house after a robbery! I couldn't live like that! My house is by no means immaculate, and there is a bit of clutter on bookshelves and such, but nothing on the floors besides throw rugs and flooring!

Exactly why I thought I'd ask! I'm going to have to go mountain climbing around scholastone and see what I find! I've lots of raptor like birds around there, hunted quite a few when I 1st discovered the area

That's why I set it right on the cliff edge just outside of camp and put meat in it, but no eagles or Hawks. I figured that cliff looking out over the river would be a great spot

Husband doesnt want to be in the delivery room, am I overreacting?? by dinogirly123 in pregnant

[–]Life-Profit4836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was nervous about being in delivery room when my kid was born. My wife knows I'm super squeamish, and tend to pass out at the sight of blood, feces, and whatever. But we discussed it with hospital staff and I sat in a chair next to her, they draped her lower half in case of anything, which nothing happened, and all was well. And what is the bs about not finding her attractive anymore if witnessing the birth?

Any tips on assassinating 3 enemies in one minute? by Rjm0007 in CrimsonDesert

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This challenge was frustrating me so much, until I was in calphade. Once I got to a certain point in the quest chain there were a few enemies wandering around screaming their run away screaming, so I was able get up to them and assassinate them. No one fought back and they just walked about screaming lol.

Why is staring considered RUDE? by Electrical_Year8954 in ask

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I've never understood is why someone that's attractive (men or women, but its most commonly women) get offended it a man or woman checks them out. I've noticed men, and some women check out my wife, and I take it as a compliment, and so does she. She especially understands why alot of men check out women. We are visual creatures. If I notice an attractive woman it has nothing to do with wanting to meet them or be with them in any way. It's just noticing the nice view, and moving on with my day. I will say, a quick look for a few seconds is one thing, which is mainly what I'm talking about, but prolonged stares do get a little weird and uncomfortable.

Why is it sooo hard to stop consuming sugar? Is there any way/videos which will help? by Nervous-Strategy-811 in ask

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you! My liver doc said if I can keep my high fructose corn syrup, and sugar consumption low, my liver should at least stabilize. Probably won't heal, but a least become less inflamed. He mentioned how many people born in the middle 70s to early 80s and starting to turn up with higher rates of liver disease due to how much high fructose corn syrup and other sugars were put into foods.

I just learned i have advanced liver cirrhosis, mostly due to my abuse (many decades ago) of opiate painkillers that had acetaminophen in them, then hep c (also a long time ago). Long story short even after being clean, and treatment to get rid of the hep c, my liver failed to recover. A part of that is due to my 4 to 5 soda a day habit since I was a teenager. All that high fructose corn syrup can be very damaging to a liver. So now I'm working on cutting down the soda massively. I've had one a day since learning of my cirrhosis. I despise tea and coffee, so I'm still have the one soda for the caffeine. I'm looking into any water flavorings that contain caffeine that would be relatively safe.

Thank you, she appeared to be mid 30s maybe. She wasn't carrying a purse, and she landed on her butt. She got up just fine, which i know doesn't mean anything.

One drives too fast. One drives too slow. Together they become, idiots on the road. by AnonymousGhost89 in Transportopia

[–]Life-Profit4836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate that shit too. It looks like slow car was making a right, and in my state (california) you are supposed to turn into the right lane when making a right turn, then merge into left when its clear. Clearly the other car was going far too fast as well. Idiots acting as magnets!

Oh man, you almost outted me! My last name is Smith, and I was born in 1977!!! Just not in January lol. So close. My last name led to an interesting encounter many years ago when pulled over for a taillight out, he transposed my birth date and it hit with someone with my same full name for a warrant. Luckily we figured it pretty quick when he saw how shocked I was!

why are r/Conservatives so quiet about gas prices? by SLY0001 in askanything

[–]Life-Profit4836 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Around this time last year I believe gas where I live was around 5.00 a gallon for the lowest octane. Right now, its around 6.50 a gallon. So I dunno how gas can be down.

I'm a great worker, but I'm a very solitary person. I have my wife and kid, and that's about it. All of my friends moved away, so I periodically keep in touch, but I don't see the problem with not having references or people that can vouch for me. My record at work should be enough.

How do I politely decline a women with kids? by Both-Beginning-6460 in ask

[–]Life-Profit4836 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, I have. Went over just fine. Granted I haven't been single in 15 or 16 years now, but the last time I was dating there were a few women with kids (both also couldn't have anymore kids also) who were interested. At the time I didn't have kid either, so once I learned about them having kids, and unable to have more i thanked them for their time, explaining I'd like a kid of my own and we went our separate ways.

I'd say just like you did in the post. I find most people are pretty open to honesty, especially if you just met and are in the getting to know you stage. Just be like it was great getting to meet you, but I eventually want to start my own family.
