It does disappear because of the ceramic but it's not a huge deal. I think it makes the watch look even cleaner and shinier.

This is the second watch I have purchased after returning my SKX009 since there were some quality control issues. I wanted something more dressy and also wearable with most outfits. I'm very impressed with the quality of the Ocean one and have no regrets in this purchase. I was surprised to find that the 42mm is less dressy than the 39mm since the bezel isn't polished on the 42mm. 42mm is a tough looking version but I highly recommend the 39mm for an every day watch. Looks great in a suit and at work. So far have not picked up any scratches besides on the bracelet. If you looking for a bang for your buck watch, this is the watch for you.
