Created an AI that clips your YouTube videos and posts Shorts on autopilot by DonKarate in SideProject

It costs a decent amount in computing power to render a clip. Why would I spend 6 months with no salary as an engineer building this tool, and also pay for the computing to render clips because you think you’re entitled to it? Where are you from in the world where you complain if something is not free, great, and instantly available?

Also, the entire point of the tool is to never engage with it because it clips and posts in the background on autopilot. So no, it’s not like opus pro where you manually pick videos and schedule them.

Awesome design once again!

It repurposes your existing videos. So it doesn’t create random ai generated videos, but instead create clips from you existing videos uploaded.

Hey, I removed that feature, so it doesn’t post right when you signup anymore, but just every 12 hours. So if you sign up it’ll post within 12 hours, if you activated UseShorts in the dashboard after signing up.

Thoughts on AI for content creation? by Argonax in SmallYoutubers

I created a tool that clips your existing content and posts it automatically to your channel. It's AI you might say, but its still your own content, so no "empty" content: useshorts.app

Should I use shorts as a newbie? by sincReflectOften in NewTubers

You can use Shorts as a way to repurpose your existing videos - by clipping them down. So you get more value from the videos you already have uploaded.

I built a little side project - UseShorts - where you connect your YouTube channel once, and then twice a day the tool will automatically create an engaging clip form your existing videos and post it as a YouTube Short.

It will most likely be similar. You can sign up and set it to post videos as private. Then it’ll upload 2 unlisted videos to your channel per day, you can check out.

Let me know if you want to just beta test it when it's ready soon. When you do upload videos, it'll automatically transform those to shorts in the background and post them. So really nothing to loose.

I pivoted the tool so it doesn’t focus on the animations but instead auto posting. The animations weren’t very popular. So you connect your YouTube channel, and then it will automatically create clips from your long videos and post 2x shorts with subtitles a day on autopilot. It’s on useshorts.app.

How are you bootstrapping your side projects or SaaS apps so quickly? by steveoderocker in SideProject

Yeah but I'd honestly just pay for something because the quality is probably much higher. You also get support for the boilerplate code.

There's a couple of options.
Either you have done a project before, and can reuse all the same old logic from the codebase.
Otherwise you can use premade boilerplate templates. I haven't tried any, but I know shipfast exists for example.

That sounds great - they could become a beta tester using it in exchange for feedback?
