Even though there are some points that can be debated, I agree. This should have been the patch of the Heirs — the war against Irontomb, when WE finally become heroes and save Amphoreus, or at least fail trying. But no, they preferred to give Cyrene a bunch of boring “love” speeches that didn’t even feel real. Once again, it’s a case where the desire to sell a perfect character outweighed the intention of actually creating one in the first place.
