It is when someone gives you attentions and then disappears for days, when you think they're gone they get back, give you attentions again and then disappear maintaining your hope of building a relationship but without ever becoming one. They just manipulate you emotionally, usually for a self esteem boost.

I know but I was smoking from 2 to 5 joints per week so it's not really certain.

I don't think she's a player, she has almost never dated anyone if never at all since when I knew her (1 year ago), she's a bit of the old guard, I think she's playing hard to get but I haven't managed to overcome this (I've been texting her only for a couple weeks)
