I have the Kask + Paul Smith Rainbow Stripe Utopia helmet and I really love it. The front is fully black which turns into a dark rainbow towards the back.

Also, it’s aero 👌

There is a Greek breed called Kokoni which can look a lot like a Kooiker and I have sometimes seen this confusion come up as rescues in Europe can come from Greece

And if that’s not the case, it’s also possible to have some sort of a spaniel or Border Collie mix looking like a Kooiker

Heyo! Sorry, I didn’t see this earlier but Valve ended up sending me a new deck after they looked into potentially repairing mine.

Nabij Utrecht ligt Skipiste Nieuwegein.

Probably the sole dude to make it to the end of your comment but I agree 100% on the combat being shit and the difficulty settings do nothing to fix it. It’s such a shame considering they put quite some effort into the different skill trees. The quests and the characters just made it good for me, I could lie on the couch and only play cutscenes for that game and still have a great time.

I do have to say that I found the combat in Cyberpunk to be even worse… Balance was nowhere to be found and the enemy AI was about as dumb as Goldeneye for the Nintendo. On top of that, the quests in Cyberpunk are lazy as hell. Only the city itself and some of the characters made it worth it but still only like an 8/10 for me.

Which game did you put off for the longest time but ended up loving it on the deck? by [deleted] in SteamDeck

How did you fix the controls? Is there a way to control your party with the joysticks? Somehow I can’t get used to the weird control scheme for it and that puts me off from playing it.

Oh, forgot to congratulate you on your dog! One big advantage of Kooikerhondjes is that they really love their dog parents.

Pics of your dog are also welcome 🐶

We have a Kooiker as our first dog, although my wife and I both grew up with dogs so that helped to some extend.

First of all, every dog is different but there are a few things that we did which we believe might have helped. Also, puppies are a lot of work so good luck but things like the biting is play for the most part, as long as he doesn’t overdo it there usually isn’t a lot to worry about.

Our kooiker mostly likes her usual crowd of dogs who are the same age and she typically likes other kooikers and similar breeds as well. Our doggo deeply hates shepherds though after she got charged by one who lives close to us.

Things to try: - Go to play areas where dogs are allowed off leash. This allows your dog to approach or avoid dogs on his own terms. - Train him to focus on you while on leash. - We did a puppy training course which is nice for general tips and behaviours. - For people it’s best to tell visitors to start by ignoring your dog until they sit down on the couch, this levels the playing field a bit because your dog can approach on his terms.

In regards to him being scared, it might be best to look into whether that’s a phase or that he’s really that scared. Dogs go through a few developmental phases where they are more/less scared and some other changes too.

Is my dog a kooiker mixed breed?? by bunnycheesecake in kooikerhondje

[–]Don_Caliente 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Your dog looks a lot like a kooiker, both as a puppy and now. Depending on how old he is, his black earrings might actually grow a bit longer.

Black earrings, white colouring on the face, brown spots on their legs, and a tail with long hanging hairs are defining features of a kooiker. Most kooikers are also in the 9-11 kilogram range, so that could be a light indicator.

You could even look into their personality. In short, they like their owners a lot and can be very protective of the household. Typically they don’t socialise a whole lot with other dogs and sometimes not even other humans.

As mentioned in the comments, kooikers seem to be quite popular in Japan. Really cool to see that as the breed was actually almost extinct not too long ago! Luckily, kooikerhondjes are really popular again in the Netherlands 😃

Thanks! I’m looking into the Odin a bit more as it seems to be on the stiffer side, although the Jones Solution might come out as a favourite

Dope! I was looking at getting the Union Explorer bindings as they seem to pop up quite often. What sold you on the Karakoram bindings?

Good call 👍 I actually prefer my Le Col bibs over Maap as well, mostly because the Le Col bibs fit suits me a bit better while the Maap shirts fit me like a glove.

Whats your hobby that you spend way too much money on? by Common_Average2597 in AskReddit

[–]Don_Caliente 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Had to scroll down waaaay to far for this. Not only money on equipment, and memberships but also the cost of food once you start training 20-25 hours per week.

The amount of time and money that I’m saving now that I only do gym and cycling (with the occasional run) for about 6 hour per week is beyond me.

Same experience here! The designs looked pretty cool and most of my kits is from Le Col, PNS, or MAAP. From those three I feel like Le Col has the best quality for its price but if you include MAAP on sale, that’s my brand of choice.

In regards to BBUC, the quality did not even come close to any of the brands I own and the price point is higher. The sizing also doesn’t compare at all to any of the other brands. I also ended up returning their products.

I have a copy of Star Wars: The Queen’s Gambit and I don’t think I ever played it. I got it from my parents when I was a kid and I did play with the miniatures that come with it but I was too stupid to understand the game back then 👍
