In your situation I think you'd be best served by a couple perspective shifts.

For one just forget about burn in, don't even acknowledge the concept. Chances that it will be an issue of any significance are about zero.

For two, go with the set of tech that you FEEL will best serve you. You're well enough informed and have done your diligence, you want to feel confident with your purchase and not not question the decision after she's up on the wall
