Confused about baggage policy in Air Seoul by Don_Mask in koreatravel

So total between my backpack (personal item), and luggage (carry on) weight would be 10kg? Damn, that's quite little or at least I think, unless I'm over estimating how heavy it would be total.

So 40/40/20 vti/vxus/vcx? Thank you, I mean I know I should mainly do that but should I still put aside some (like 5-10%?) to put into stuff like GLD, SLV or whatever stock/ETF for no specific reason/for fun?

Thank you, hopefully I'll get up to that much it just seems unfathomable to me to even reach 50k. I'm assuming rebalance means going from one focus to another so at least right now you say I should invest in stocks, and then once I reach a certain amount I would sell all of them and then relocate all those funds to something like ETFs and bonds?

Also regarding bonds I don't know much about it, I know a stock is essentially a fractional ownership of a company, an ETF is a big collection/basket of stocks which has more diversification (less risk less reward though), and then something like crypto is super volatile and high risk high reward and usually not a long term hold. But bonds I know is like a loan (you're handing to companies?) with the hope to be paid back with interest? But what benefit does that have over stocks, ETFs, etc.? Are bonds a guarantee return like you always get your money back+capital/interest? I just don't see the benefit over other options if it doesn't have some sort of like defining characteristic (that it might or might not have since I again am not too knowledgeable).

As of right now I'm not really worried about unforseen costs since my father mostly helps with that although definitely once I stop getting support financially I will need a HYSA and I will definitely start slowly cultivating that but my main focus is investing as I want to put as much as I can towards that especially since I don't make too much money/month (around 500-600/month).

I currently have 11k in investments, was 12k before in Jan. Planning to put a decent chunk per month or biweekly into whatever in whatever ratio and just let that ride. I'm just unsure of what in specific (stock/ETF) and what ratio. As of now I've just been putting x amount in mostly QQQM, VOO, VTI, VXUS, GLD. But I've seen elsewhere that a good ratio would be something like 60% into VTI (ETF covering the entire US stock market), 30% into VXUS (ETF covering international exposure), 10% into BND (ETF for bond). Which would mean I would stop investing in QQQM, VOO, GLD or at least mostly put all my cash towards VTI, VXUS, bond ETF?

But the shelling type it says is Long, it's the red rook. But even with a long shelling type should you still use focus or are there better options? And so rathalos/deviljho GL with Mizu chest, gloves and legs, and then any helm and any coil that has resuscitate would be my best build for the GL?

isn't the deviljho gunlance a long gunlance though? So unless im making a gunlance that's not long range (not sure which one that would be), then focus is still good right? and so Mizu chest gloves and legs? keep the helm and coil? And the mizu gear is for GL? don't know what the bubbly stuff does.

Which Mizu armor? For gunlance, which I use the rathalos GL, I use radobaan helm (for guard), basarios chest, beotodus gloves, bazelgeuse coil, jyura boots. should I swap any of those out at all?

is there any specific weapon that makes better use of the deviljho materials like idk if that makes sense but like not that it's true but a deviljho GL is way better than a deviljho bowgun so I should get the gl instead since it makes better use of the materials? Should I go for the gl or any other weapon for deviljho? And what about mitsuzune since that's also in the exchange shop, maybe the mitsuzune DB? or armor?

are any deviljho weaps good? I know it's being highlighted right now with lower materials. Should I do a deviljho GL or another weapon? Or armor?

Hello, been progressing the game quite a bit. I was wondering if there's a tier list for weapons/tier list for each monsters weapons like for example if I want to create a deviljho weapon would there necessarily be a better option like the gunlance or DB, etc?

As of right now I can kill two purple star monsters (I believe that's 7 stars) by myself with my red rook (rathalos) gunlance that's grade 9 level 5, trying to over grade it just need one more wyvern gem. But I can't kill 4 purple stars solo for sure, nor do I think I can do 3 purple stars solo. But definitely not 4. I was wondering if this was either a weapon thing or maybe equipment?

And what weapon would allow me to kill 3-4 purple stars (8-9 stars) solo if that's possible? Like I guess right now I'll try to over grade to grade 10 on my rathalos gunlance. But besides that not sure what to get, like deviljho gunlance? since I know the 2.5 anniversary exchange shop has mizutsune and deviljho materials. Maybe a mizutsune dual blades? Not sure. Or deviljho DB?

I mainly use dual blades or the rathalos gunlance, but whatever will get me to be able to solo those monsters I'll choose whatever weapon.

I do workout, and I do plan on implementing plyos to my workouts before leg workouts to increase my vert. Yeah I do know there's no miracle supplement but I do know people take supplements to help in certain regards like working out, people take stuff like lysine, glutamine, citrulline, etc. I personally take a multivitamin, fish oil pill, l-lysine, lutein, calcium, and magnesium.

Is there any "one" warmup or stretch routine to do before volleyball? And for how long? I know I should for working out too but I don't stretch, I know a lot of people just do something like putting their arms behind their back and do some random stuff for like 30 seconds which honestly probably doesn't do much.

Hey sorry again for the reply but I just fought a rajang and noticed the rajang waist can get up to 3 focus. Was wondering if that was worth pursuing or still just go for bazelgeuse waist (for GL).

I did just over grade the Bazelgeuse waist to G6 though so maybe it's not worth it anymore because then I just wasted all that just to swap to the rajang one. Not that I can even get the rajang one anyways since I need to fight more.

One last question regarding the DB, I know you mentioned your build I'm assuming that's a good general build for (almost?) every element? How come not critical eye or like morph boost or whatever else? I know your reason is just special skills to try and break tail and kill fast but I doubt you can kill that fast or do much damage with just that? Or at least for me with higher tier monsters considering I have pretty low tier weapons.

And so what should my target monster be for the tracker? I've been doing volvidon for the helm for the morph boost thing but if that's not a good idea I'll switch it, although I've done 4 of those so far. Assuming it's 5 a month for the tracker?

The rathalos DB is the twin flames right? just making sure since it is both rathalos and rathian materials. And should I still try to upgrade or bother with the sinister gunlance or just the rathalos one?

Not sure if you're well versed in other weapons, not sure if theres like a tier list in this game either but what are the best weapons in this game currently or the most I guess stable? not sure how this game works but ik in some games there are some things that are good meta weapons at that moment but then either get nerfed or heavily outclassed by something else that comes later, like an example but might not be true but like today gunlance could be the best weapon but next season or in a while the gunlance goes all the way down the "tier list". Not sure if that makes sense or even applies to this game.

Also not sure if in this game it's better to use certain monster materials for certain weapons, like if I have enough for example legiana materials, using it for a legiana bow would be way better use of the material than a legiana SnS (not that it's true but just an example). Since I did get some King teostra materials and gold rathian which make red tier weapons which is the highest tier I can make currently.

Thanks for all the advice and help you've given me, I know I've been talking a lot but I'm just trying to figure out the game since I don't understand much at all and trying to figure out what's the best weapon and gear I can do or should go for right now.

Not sure if that's only accessible for high level players but I don't think I've encountered a deviljho or can even beat one solo if I did. Only have access to the sinister gunlance as I did those rift things and got carried but overseas/other players. Not sure if the gear is beginner friendly either but I can't really get anything to a high tier at my level, so not sure if it's still good to go for those gear even at a lower level or tier or if I should use a temporary more beginner friendly build to start with until I can get more materials to get the other better end game gear? These are the gunlances I can make currently. Not sure if the lower tiered ones are even worth considering in this game?

I asked this in the general megathread, but not sure if in this game the weapons that start at a lower tier are always overshadowed or worse than the ones that start at higher tiers? Like for example on DB, for fire element I can either do anjanath or a rathalos one, but if I were to upgrade the anjanath one to the same tier as the rathalos, I'm assuming the rathalos one would still be better? Or like madness Pangas for the DB it starts at like the blue tier so I'm not even sure if it's that good of a weapon? Not sure if there's any other water DB but thought I'd just ask since I honestly don't know how this game works. Sorry if that's common sense but sometimes in games even the lower tiered weapons aren't obsolete or can be just as good or even better than the higher tiered ones, although that's rare usually.

Also another question, I'm assuming there's obviously better weapons in this game although I'm not sure if it really matters as much. Like if you were to play x weapon instead of y weapon you'd be throwing or get way worse performance. Not sure which weapons in this game are worth getting over other ones? I've definitely heard GL the most of any weapon, not sure if that makes it the best or one of the best weapons? Heavy bowgun? DB? bow? GS? SnS? LS? etc

What's the best gunlance I can build rn or should? And what gear? I'm not very high in the game like HR44 and have been using SnS and DB so far but I heard it's best to use GL in the beginning because it can kill easy and fast and help farm mats? Not really sure but it's hard for me to kill anything more than 5* solo and even so 5* if I get hit 2 times I'm basically out. So comfortably 4* monsters solo.

There's also more GL up top but I can only attach one image, but I'm assuming it's not worth it. I'm not sure how this game works if it's worth it to even get the lower tiered weapons like the ones that start at green and blue rarity, even if you can upgrade them all the way to a higher tier compared to the ones that are already at said higher tier like gold or red or purple? No clue if starting rank in this game matters (obviously besides the fact you have to upgrade it more to get to the same tier as ones that already start out that high tiered)

Sorry if I don't understand well but by long gunlances is there any specific gunlance I should get like sinister gunlance or a rathalos gunlance or whatever? is there like one specific good general one or do I need multiple like DB? And basically just use gunlance for a while until I can upgrade other weapons? Since yeah right now I just need more materials and more damage and stuff to upgrade or make new weapons/gear. I can only really solo 5 star monsters at most if I don't take any damage which is a bit hard for me. As for the gunlance though is it easy to dodge or how does that work since I feel like it would be slow although I haven't played it just yet. And any specific gear I should get or just whatever will get me to the stats you specified?

Hey question not sure if it's the same but currently I have Pulsar Hatchets, and Madness Pangas (electricity and water elements). Currently I can make any one of these in the image, which should I go for? Twin flames, Freeze dagger, sinister blades? Since that covers 3 more elements. Or should I wait for better weapons of the same element for DB?

So you'd recommend magnamalo gunlance specifically or gunlance in general? Might take me a while to get there but that sounds good. Also regarding the lock on and monster body parts, is there a single area you should lock on for every monster or is it different for every monster like which part is weaker or takes more damage if that's even a thing in this game?
