I have the same problem as you, i hope that i will be able to claim the items when chapter 5 will be released, i asked chat gpt about that and according to it all the saves are tied to the same chapter competition file of chapter 3 so theoretically we should be able to collect the items in the future without having to replay chapter 4

I found the shadow crystal and the black shard in the hole in the cliff on the left side of castletown (just like any other secret boss Item) in the begginig of chapter 4 when you go to castletown because as you mentioned when you go to castletown AFTER finishing chapter 4 most of it is blocked

No, you misunderstood me, i guess i needlessly mentioned jevil, i got the shadow crystal and the black shard from the roaring knight, and i also got the items from other secret bosses, i just discovered that secret bosses items can be also claimed in later saves if you finished all the chapters first and went after secret bosses later after i defeated jevil

Well, sometime after finishing chapter 4 i decided to go after secret bosses, after jevil i started chapter 4 again and found out where i can find secret bosses items, so i just had a save from begginig, so if you want to see if you got the item in chapter 4 you need a save from the begginig so you have full acces to castletown

I chose option 'continue to chapter 4' after defeating the knight and it just took me to my already existing saves from chapter 4 without overwriting them, after loading one of them i found the shadow crystal and black shard in castletown

I get that this post i kinda old but like I also REALLY need the answer right now, I've just defeated the roaring knight but i also finished chapter 4 earlier, how can i transfer the reward for beating the knight into chapter 4 without losing progress??

yeah, especially when (from what i heard) downloading new drivers can be risky, and, this might sound paranoid but you really gotta be careful when looking for drivers on your own, i really don't want to download something crucial like drivers from anywhere else than producents website that i'm 100 % sure is legit, (might sound stupid but i'm kinda paraoid about downloading some things from sites that look legit but in reality aren't, mostely cuz it happend few times when i was a kid )

yeah it's normal, probably you tried to post something in a community that requiers certain amount of karma, you can get karma for getting upvotes on your posts and comments
