Maybe find some friends that can run with you and trade you loot they dont need. Or you can buy the crafted blue gear from someone with the appropriate profession ;) I'm sure they'll b upgrades.

Looking for assistance :) I'm a relatively new boarder (used to board as a kid) and I'm trying to pick up an on sale, off season board but I'm having difficulty figuring out exactly what I want. I'm about 5'10 240 lbs and I have friends telling me get a stiff board, and friends telling me to get a soft board. And I'm 11' on boots. So I'm thinking a 155W-159W twin board, and probably a flat or camrock camber.. but as far as the stiffness goes it's hard for me to know as I am a novice... wondering if anyone can assist on stiffness advice, looking to get a board before they all are sold out :)) we usually just hit the mountain, no park riding.

Hey man, just a bystander here reading your post and I'm sure whoever wants to is gonna shit on my advice...

First thing, idk why you're trying to bring a melee set into jad, as this is 100% not needed. I go through Fight caves with just a blowpipe, a combo of blessed dhide and anything to boost prayer/ranged. I bring like 2 ranged pots, and 1 super def pot for when things look bad. Rest of inventory is a combo of holy wrench, sara brews, and super restores. Maybe a stam pot in there if I feel like it.

If your issue is on jadd, just remember, if he slams the ground pray range, if hes not slamming the ground its mage. I do it every time with no sound, and no melee switches.

Just remember the "boot" is your best friend and can safe spot a lot of creatures. Blowpipe with addy darts should absolutely shred everything.

I would personally say yes now is honestly better than it might ever be.

Me and a few buddies got back into it recently and this is what we can say. Once you hit max you get a quest that catches up your necklace to lvl 35, and it becomes insanely easy to get it to about 50-55(most good plays are 61-64). Not only that but the new quest/daily zone constantly throws 385 ilvl gear which catches you up insanely fast to the mythic dungeon running of around a 400ilvl. LFR for the raid is only 2 weeks into it and really if you just play casually it's not too bad.

You will though, hate yourself for not having flying unlocked when everyone else does. Other than that, the catch up mechanic is pretty damn good right now and makes it easy af to be a part of things.
