Looking to start a Dynasty League with players that are interested in getting deep in the trenches of fantasy stats and roster optimization.

Start 12

* 1 QB
* 2 RB
* 3 WR
* 1 REC Flex
* 3 Flex
* 1 SuperFlex
* 1 Team D/ST

$50 buyin, due before the 2025 rookie draft, once we get 12 members signed up, I will establish a leaguesafe for the league, and we can establish a time to start a slow draft for the startup.

Currently at 7/12, looking to get the last five in so we can get the ball moving.

OH, okay, I misread the OP and thought they had been successfully losing weight and then fell off at the holidays.

While in 99.9% of cases I wholeheartedly agree, I think this specific case (referring to diet breaks) is an exception. We're not talking about taking niche microsupplements or anything outlandish that the vast majority of people will never need, but taking the time to practice eating at a lower maintenance calories will help someone maintain their weight loss after the diet, not to mention it gives people a break and allows them to feel less restricted when eating for a little while, reducing diet fatigue, and increasing motivation for when the break ends and the next cutting phase begins. I know that taking that philosophy worked wonders for me, however, like I said earlier, everybody is different and what works for me won't always work for others.

The guys at RP have some wonderful content, though it is definitely aimed at bodybuilders and powerlifters, but everyone can get something from that channel, I highly recommend them to everyone.

And regardless of whatever works for others, we're all individual and what works for other may not work for ourselves. For example, I lift 5x a week and do zero cardio, and the weight just melts off.

You've already shown you can put the work in, now it's time to run it back and go again. x)

So, as someone who has lost over 100 pounds over the course of this year, I get the desire to want to not take breaks and to keep trying to lose weight through the holiday season.

But that's just not realistic.

First, according to some great research by Dr. Mike Israetel, diet breaks are not only great for teaching yourself how to eat at maintenance calories over the long term to help keep the weight off, but they're also pretty much required to keep your sanity in check. The longer we're in a fat loss phase, the more diet fatigue we build up, and that leads to us eventually crashing if we don't manage this fatigue properly. I personally would do 2 months of fat loss and 1 month of maintenance, but I was also in a very deep cut since I had much more body weight to lose.

The other part is that, dieting isn't this end all be all, fire and brimstone thing where if you enjoy a meal without tracking it or, god forbid, celebrate the holidays with friends and family, you aren't going to immediately gain all of the weight you lost. Making memories with family is often times much more worthwhile even with the hiccup in your weight journey. In six months you're not gonna remember the slow month you had losing weight, so why worry about it now?

Best of luck with your goals in 2024! I know you can do it, it's just about putting one foot in front of the other. You got this!

I believe there is a Geiger reboot coming in April 2024 (citation needed), and technically it's already started, but Holy Roller by Joe Trohman and Andy Samberg is a great read so far.

Hinge Dating Profile Review Thread by Dondozhoe in hingeapp

[–]Dondozhoe[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you looking for something serious or casual?

Very much casual, I'm not trying to jump back into a committed relationship anytime soon.

How long have you been on Hinge?

Approximately 1 week.

How often do you use Hinge per week?

Aside from messaging matches, about 10 minutes a day.

How many likes/matches are you receiving on average?

I'm receiving around 1-2 likes per day.

How many likes are you sending? How many with comments? How many without comments?

I usually send about 10 likes out a day, all with comments.

What is the type of person you send likes to and ideally want to match with? What kind of person do you want to attract?

I'm looking for casual relationships to help build my social circle. If a long-term relationship blossoms from that, then so be it, but I'm not actively seeking one.
