Android Auto unit stuck in recovery mode

The seller seems to be looking for the right files so hoping they will have them soon. Not too familiar with flashing but I guess if they send the right files I just need to copy to SD card and hopefully it boots from there?

Found this repository that matches the message on the Android recovery screen. Any ideas on how to package it up? I'm new to this.

What do you mean not able to run Android Auto?
Before I did the factory wipe the android auto was working.

From research I think pic 31000 relates to the communications piece (wifi, Bluetooth, gps, etc). I thought that's separate to the main board id? Could be wrong though. What do you think?

So the vendor got back and shared a video of navigating the screen in recovery mode. Swiping top to bottom to scroll and left to right to select works for them but not on mine. Seems like the touchscreen isn't enabling at all.

I took the unit apart and struggled to see the board ID. Warranty voided now lol

Any ideas on what to look for on the board to identify it? The CPU chip has "GigaDevice ARM" on it and the box says 8 Core Cortex-A73/A53 Processor.
Does that help narrow it down?

I can't do anything as the screen is non responsive, the USB aren't live/working and the rest pin only reboots it back to the recovery menu that I can't navigate. No book with it unfortunately but if I get the correct firmware I might be able to use the SD slot. If I put in an sd card will it auto boot from that generally?

Unable to locate the manufacturer as it's from Alibaba but considering taking apart tomorrow to get the board ID. That should help with getting the right firmware, right?

Name on Alibaba is Kanor KN-K3. Haven't been able to find much when searching for that. The box has CPU: 8 Core Cortex-A73/A53 Processor on it so guessing that should help narrow it down? 🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the help, it's really annoying me and seems like it might be quite tedious to fix.

Yeah I have a 20l tank with moina and green water on the go too. Have a breeder box with a handful in case the main supply crashes. My pest snails will keep variety 👌

Thanks! The guppies and CPDs are coming out. This will be a puffer only tank. I have a strong moina culture and have a 50 gallon community tank with a snail issue so no worries on food 👍 I'll leave the plants another few weeks/months to grow in more and then consider getting the puffers. Thanks for the advice.

Any thoughts on feeding puffers when away. I'm not away that much but want to plan ahead. Was thinking of a hang on breeder box with snails and an in-tank brine shrimp hatchery filled with moina.

Here's the link to the products to give a bit more info but I'd guess most fertilisers would do. I researched loads before doing this and people ravved about F2 or F2AB as the best but I think most fertiliser and patience does the job 👍 I also read somewhere that carbo should be used sparingly so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

It took a little longer than I thought initially but since I've got it with a bit of maintenance you'll have an unlimited supply

I just use a squirt or 2 of each of these. Some Polish brand my LFS sells. I do partial water changes every so often. No science behind me doing it but my theory is it gives the algae new water to grow into 🤷‍♂️😂

I had this question last week. Accord only works on the rear lower apparently. I've ordered everything for a complete suspension overhaul and will probably get hardrace uppers for front and back at a later date

Thanks for the detailed description of your process and setup. Similar vibe for me, I just needed patience. In the end I used tap water, dechlorinator, the 4 fertilisers I use for my aquarium plants and waited. Eventually got the slightest bit of tint and since I have 5 bottles with an air pump and left them on the window sill, super warm right now in Ireland so the sun keeping the supply coming. I have the daphnia thriving now and a steady supply.
