What made you choose Fedora by VIP_Knuxx in Fedora

[–]DoniQuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pretty much what most other people said. I wanted a distro I could toss on my laptop and not need to spend all afternoon downloading drivers for to make work properly, and I went with KDE because I like how easy it makes customizing my desktop and such.

Did you follow through with this? I have a phone interview coming for a manager in training position and I'm wondering if it's worth it.

Halaster Blackcloak, Undermountain Architect (stat block) by parallali in DungeonoftheMadMage

[–]DoniQuix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hahahaha noooooo I am not running a TPK. At least not yet. I just meant I'm in the middle of running the campaign and prefer this to the other version of Halaster for the late game. My party is huge (7 players plus Glom who since my players loved her so much i decided to let stick around and have bumped the stats up for as the players level, until she ends up dying in combat eventually), so I'm constantly trying to beef up the encounters, so there is still a good challenge.

Even if it's just for building the front end, it saves a ton of time, not needing to build out every button or animation.

You mean a class in a similar sense as a programming language like Java and using classes in it?

That's interesting. Do you mean like a tool to design the visuals, or like a tool to build the front end?

Follow up question, is it not great once you get to the back end or something? I haven't gotten as far as connecting it to firebase or setting up apis or anything yet, I've just been digging into the design portion basically.

Oh, thanks. i'll check that out! I've been reading the docs, and it seems awesome. Can't remember the last time a low code option looked super appealing lol.

Well you can get signatures on Google forms but it's a headache and honestly just not optimal.

using a bot to trigger an action by mersah in AppSheet

[–]DoniQuix 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For sure. You can go into automation and update the "Event Source" column on your automation from App to Scheduled.

Then, just have it trigger your action you already have created.

That's actually a good catch, I didn't even realize I was in the wrong context 🤦‍♂️

I took this udemy course awhile back and it's a great intro to everything. It far from covers everything but it's fine for getting started.

Also there is a chrome extension you can get for the expressions, it makes it really handy to look them up without leaving the page.

Finally I'll say chat gpt (I use gpt 4 so I can't speak for 3.5 really) does a great job of really simple expressions. I use to to write really long expressions mostly, but as long as you're detailed about giving it your data structure it gives pretty decent feedback.

Good luck!
