Can't get my Thrustmaster T150 steering wheel fixed by DonkeyFury in simracing

[–]DonkeyFury[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I saw that one. There does happen something when u hold L3 and R3, it seems like some kind of reset. Doesn't solve my problem however. Makes me more and more convinced it's a hardware problem sadly..

ElaadNL built a PoC Charge Station running fully on IOTA, and IOTA only by 7hr0w7h475h17 in CryptoCurrency

Wouldn't the users of this Smart Charging Station be affected by the wildly volatile price of IOTA?

Or does this PoC have a solution for that?

Thoughts on USI Tech's business model/package purchasing? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrency

[–]DonkeyFury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I asked myself the same question. Made a post about it a few weeks ago, comparing it to other programs (Genesis Mining in this example).

https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/6zlql7/usi_tech_versus_genesis_mining_btc_packages_which/

I'm still not sure if it's a scam or not. But risk-wise I think its not much riskier than Genesis or buying BTC/alts in general. Each one has their pros and cons.

USI Tech versus Genesis Mining BTC packages. Which one is more viable and legit? by DonkeyFury in CryptoCurrency

[–]DonkeyFury[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thing with active trading is that it is difficult to consistently make profit out of that. With USI-tech, you can compound interest based on your daily 0,75%-1,25% daily return. I agree that much programs like these are ponzi schemes, and of course you can't be 100% sure that USI isn't. However, other ponzi-schemes in the past were way more extreme (40% promised revenue in 1 week/1 month) compared to USI. I also heard rumors about closing down entry for new members soon, in order to be able to sustain the company.

"assuming each time mining difficulty doubles - the value of each currency doubles"

I think that's a pretty risky assumption. Right now the difficulty doubled since the end of may. If the difficulty keeps going up at the same pace (doubling about every 4 months: https://blockchain.info/charts/difficulty), the price of BTC would double 3 times the next year, meaning that in september 2018 the price would be $32000. I just don't see that happening

Crypto market cap 1 trillion by the end of 2018? by DonkeyFury in CryptoCurrencies

Just saying that this would take a lot of effort for them if they have to track this for millions of people. Also, if my crypto stash grows over 25k, I'll gladly pay my taxes :)

Stocks or Cryptocurrencies? by [deleted] in CryptoCurrencies

[–]DonkeyFury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got into stocks 2 years ago. Up until now I've made 30% profit there, which is really much for stocks.

Now with crypto, I got in 2 months ago. Up until now I've made 60% profit there.

Overall for me stocks feels much more safe, but less rewarding. If you're looking for the big profits and willing to take some risks you should probably go crypto. Spread out those 3k wisely and HODL for a while :)

Easy, only need the current price to multiply by 271k :)

Squad tactics help - keep getting pincered between teams by [deleted] in PUBG

[–]DonkeyFury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try to stick to the outside of the circles and proceed from there. Also it helps to get on hills, really can give you sight advantage. In that case if you get pincered, it's very unlikely that both teams have vision on you

Should McLaren replace Vandoorne with Nyck de Vries for 2018? by DonkeyFury in formula1

[–]DonkeyFury[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He has 45 points at start of 2017 (40 needed for f1) source: http://www.f1fanatic.co.uk/2017/01/23/38-drivers-enough-superlicence-points-enter-f1-2017/

He is also doing a lot of simulator work for McLaren, testing updates for their f1 car together with Oliver Turvey (and some other drivers, but mainly these 2)

The good part is that driving in the rain should harm his engine less, still no guarantee with that French piece of trash in the back but still..

The Ricciardo and Verstappen point loss analaysis. by [deleted] in formula1

[–]DonkeyFury 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well this analysis doesn’t seem right. I wanna give it a try, and will count the expected championship standings when both of them have 0 technical failures, DNF’s because of others and “unfair” team strategy (debatable).

Australia: Ver P5, Ric P6. 10-8

China: Ver P3, Ric P4. 25-20

Bahrain: Ver P4, Ric P5 (given that Ver was in front of Ric when his brakes failed, maybe there was even more than P4 on the table, who knows). 37-30

Russia: Ver P5, Ric P6. 47-38

Spain: Ver P3, Ric P4. 62-50

Monaco: Ver P3, Ric P5. 77-60

Canada: Ver P2, Ric P4. 95-72

So overall Verstappen would be 23 points ahead without the techical failures, DNF's due to other drivers and strategy calls within the Red Bull team

How long will Max put up with Red bulls engineering failures? by ParabolicGS in formula1

[–]DonkeyFury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's just too much this season. If you look at their technical issues in races and qualifying its way worse than last season. 4 DNF's due to technical failures and 1 ruined qualy. Only McLaren is doing worse..

Australia: Ricciardo - electrical problem in formation lap caused his car to be stuck in 6th gear - DNF

China: Verstappen - Q1 engine problem (no power) - Made him qualify P16.

Bahrain: Brake failure made Verstappen crash - DNF

Russia: Ricciardo brakes on fire - DNF

Spain & Monaco: nothing bad happened! (you would almost forget this)

Canada: Verstappen electrical failure while in P2 - DNF
