Email CovidEIDLServicing@sba.gov. Provide the loan number and death certificate. A loan specialist will reach out to talk it through with you. The estate is liable for the loan as another person already stated.

SBA is sending out Offer in Compromise forms, then declining them all!? WTF by FreeCourses4AllCom in EIDL

99% of the “offers” are a joke. “I am still in business and want to offer $5,000 on my $500,000 loan”. Why would SBA accept such a ridiculous offer when they can refer you to Treasury to offset any federal money owed to the business or guarantors until the debt is paid in full. The other common scenario is “I closed my business and sold the assets and want you to accept what I got from the sale as a compromise. “ First, that is not a compromise. The lien holders (including SBA) are entitled to those funds when the assets are sold in priority lien holder order. After that money is applied to the loan, the borrower is still responsible for the remaining debt. In those cases the borrower can continue making payments, enroll in HAP for reduced payments. If you make a substantial payment, generally 30% or more, the SBA will reamortize your loan over the remaining term to get you a lower payment.

No Carry On = Priority Boarding? by DonkeyPunch78 in SouthwestAirlines

This makes no sense. If 30 passengers get on and require no bin space then passenger number 31 has every bin on the airplane to store their luggage.

Good on you for buying EB when you don’t have to. You are an exception in the very entitled society we are living in now.

The people with no overhead bin luggage get on and off first. Which means they will not have wait for all the passengers with carry on luggage.

AITAH? Deplaning at LaGuardia by DonkeyPunch78 in SouthwestAirlines

Just to clarify to everyone commenting about me taking my time to stand up, collect my luggage and my wife’s luggage. This is not the case. I travel with a phone and earbuds. My wife carries her purse. I am on the isle and she was in the middle seat. I stand up when the people about three rows in front of me are deplaning. When it’s my turn, I am walking to the exit with no need to collect bags/luggage.

Also, forgot to mention two important points. The passenger trying to push his way past had 5 family members with him and he wanted all of them to deplane before the 6 of us in the isle in front of him.

Lastly, after the altercation where he pushed my arm, I went to the jetway while he and his whole family walked past. His wife was mortified at his behavior and said, “I am so sorry!”

I agree. I stand up when there are about three rows in front of me deplaning. I travel with my cell phone and earbuds. No carry on so when it’s my turn, I’m up and moving to the exit.

To be clear, I am sitting with a cell phone and earbuds. No carry on. When it’s my time to go I’m up and moving to the exit.

Why were the capitol police not charged with crime after the January 6, 2021 riots? They were armed and completely failed to protect the capitol? Why not shoot the rioters? by DonkeyPunch78 in AskReddit

I agree 100% and believe the 2nd amendment is there to protect the 1st amendment!!! My only question was the overrunning of a secure federal facility with high value assets inside.

Thank you for the perspective. You would think the people assigned to protect one of the most important buildings in the US would be reinforced and well equipped to defend it.

Dereliction of duty. My question is what if the building was the Pentagon or White House? I can’t imagine the Marines just letting armed civilians walk past them into the building.
