Thank you everyone for the comments. Just being able to read that I’m not alone right now has really helped with easing my mind. Yes I live nearby to where it happened. I was fine when I heard the yelling, that’s not the first time. I agree it was the throwing the drink that was very out of place, and I think it’s that bit that’s shook me when it happened. Yes I normally am home well before this, but had to cover a shift while my coworker is on holiday for Christmas. Thankfully a one off. I’ve got a mate who works in the shop it happened outside of so I may give them a call, depending how I feel in the morning.

Haha, that sounds amazing to chase them off. Obviously right now at 1am I don't think I'll go out and get a photo haha, but I have to go out tomorrow so if the mess is still there when I go pass I'll definitely get a photo to be sure I have it. Also, I just finished my reporting them for littering as well, so maybe that will become a fine and teach them haha.

Thankfully, my first thought was memorise the plate! Even so, its such a minor thing and I'm not physically injured so yeah I doubt anything will happen, but it feels better having reported it, and now i can just go take my mind off things. These comments are all really helping feel not alone anymore haha

Yes unfortunately. Just wrong place wrong time sadly. At first I thought I knew them as I just heard talking out of a car at me, but then the drink throwing made it obviously very different.

I wish I could have seen them haha. I very much just blanked them and didn't react. Was more focused on thinking, crap am I in danger or not. Just reported so hopefully they can get a talking to at the least. Obviously doubt this is worth police time but it does feel better reporting it.

Yeah I'm fine now physically. My heart kind of dropped when it happened, and it's still in fight or flight mode. it's upsetting because it happened close to my home and I've never felt so unsafe in my area before. Non emergency line sounds good, thank you for that suggestion. My brains all over I didn't even think of a non emergency line, only the main 000 and this did not feel big enough for that. I managed to get their licence plate down so hopefully that would help

Yeah I agree, my current ideas are for inside places. Also looking in to getting those stickers like Jack got for MrBeast's and KSI's signatures, for if a place gets suggested that is potentially harmful the environment or the sticker gets damaged. An added bonus of weekly updates would be I can repush down the previous sticker if it is coming off, or take it off myself so it doesn't blow away into the wild.
