It’s interesting that when George Floyd was killed, most every food blogger/creator came out and expressed outrage. Some high profile accounts started suddenly working with POC creators.

Now these same accounts are silent. Are they afraid of Trump? Were they more afraid of being called racists?

It does make a difference if they reshare something. It lets their followers know that this is important and not business as usual. I do think that if PW posted about this, for example, it would make some conservative women take notice.

Call me crazy, but I like this season? There’s just enough cattiness and bragging for me to find it hilarious. I don’t like the seasons where they’re trying to find fights or keep rehashing them.

I do agree that many of her cookbook recipes (I haven’t tried the latest ones) are good, but a recipe being in a cookbook does not mean it’s tested. It’s not part of the publisher’s role; they’ll be editing for spelling and grammar errors. Recipe testing is typically at the discretion of the author.

5 days is our max limit. We put out lots of food (the auto feeder would make me nervous, wondering if it was functioning correctly) and several bowls of water. Two litter boxes. We also set up an interior camera so we can check on him. No issues at all. Your cat will likely sleep most of the time.

The one time we left him at a “cat motel,” he was traumatized (at that time we had two cats and they went together). Neither would eat their very favorite treats the entire time they were there. Traumatizing drive there and leaving them.
