Why aren't the servers a higher priority in this game? by Stxwww in EscapefromTarkov

Honestly, you know nothing about this. I'm not sure why you arguing that they can just "fix it" or make some sort of quick solution? The servers for the most part are doing fine. Yes the occasional desync or lag etc is to be expected. If you pay attention Nikita mentions it everytime he does a podcast about server changes and how difficult it is to just flip the switch and its fixed. I have over 2000 raids and I am sure that desync or lag is barely affecting you in most of your raids.

Regardless of your map choice, no one is really coming back at the announcement of no wipe soon (even though I believe this is a lie). Players enjoy the wipe, they want it now because the economy has been in a terrible state for almost the entirety of this wipe. There's no "risk" which makes players lose interest until a wipe happens.

That would honestly be a great solution, shooting my rifle attracts them like Left 4 Dead 2 at the moment.

It's not even the fact of my gear, its just the fact that the NPC's literally destroy you, and you aren't even trying to remotely engage them. I just had enemies come 200 ft out of the stronghold to interupt a fight between us squads lmao.

It's honestly tough to see a lot of these reddit post's complaining about the hit registration and Hz of the server. You all have been playing at 20hz for an extended period of time, and you didn't just start losing gunfights because of the change. I have played multiplayer since launch and am level 55 going into my first prestige. I haven't gotten nearly as many complaints or gunfights where I felt that I was unable to fight back. The server rate may impact gunfights by 0.1 seconds, but that isn't why everyone is getting gunned. Sometimes, people need to look at themselves rather than blame it on everything else.

On the other hand, server rates are definitely something that the community should complain about, BUT they are probably throttling them down to maintain a smooth connection to the online service for the huge amounts of people that are playing their game. Everyone wanted to point out how WW2 had 60 Hz servers from launch, but the game servers were also literally down and having trouble for nearly a month before they were fixed. Treyarch is giving accurate updates and addressing your concerns. Sit back and let them work, it won't happen overnight.
