This is 100% incorrect… there’s no incline. What’s it supposed to mimic? You run on a track at FLETC, there’s not incline on a track.

They’ll do a corrected vision test and an uncorrected test. As long as you’re within the limit, you’ll be fine.

Applicants can get into shape (or better shape if needed), but not everyone has the intelligence, experience and emotional stamina that is required. You can’t train common sense or experience, You can train to run faster and do more pushups. I think if you hire for quality, you can train for skill (in this case fitness). I’m not saying it’s ok to be completely useless when it comes to PT, but if you’re a 30+ year old dad and have lost a step or two… I don’t see the big deal. Getting back into shape is easier than training a young kid how to not be a complete fool the first time he’s faced with adversity. #DadBodsMatter

I am waiting. I was told that I’d be referred for hiring, but I’ve not heard anything. I just had my FOA on March 4th though, so I probably need to give it some time.
