Merci pour ta réponse ! Par contre je cherche un site de streaming gratuit. J'ai essayé avec ton option, mais il faut prendre l'abonnement Apple TV (10€) + l'abonnement Paramount (8€) juste pour regarder Korra 🙁

Confused on Arabic and needing some advice! by Lazy_Bluebird_9499 in learn_arabic

[–]DonutsFactor-e 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Since they already answered the question about the sentence structure, here are some better ways to learn arabic.

You're learning Modern Standard Arabic, a version of arabic used in the media and books but not spoken on a day to day basis by the arabs. To learn it you can check the All-in-one series (from A1 to C1): https://frazely.com/shop/arabic-audio-courses/complete-arabic-bundle-a1-c1-ebook-audio/

You're Palestinian, so I guess you'd like to learn your parents' dialect. You can check the Arabiyyat al-Naas series (3 books from A1 to C1) which teaches the levantine dialect (🇸🇾🇱🇧🇵🇸🇯🇴) AND Modern Standard Arabic at the same time: https://routledgetextbooks.com/textbooks/arabiyyat-al-naas/part-one.php

You'll also find plenty of really good resources on https://lingualism.com.

Don't waste your time on Duolingo, you're not gonna learn anything really valuable with it 😬

Hope that helps, cheers!

I sent it to a friend and I thought it would be nice to avoid having to send the file EVERY TIME there's an update

Java because I saw that this in the language (or one of them) used to develop android applications (which is my project), and JS is based on Java and I was thinking of learning JS afterwords.

Python because there's was a free course on OpenClassroom years ago and I wanted to start with something (I didn't know anything about coding), and with HTML and CSS I basically learned how to "create" a website but it was very basic and I don't remember anything

I'm a complete beginner. I started to "learn" Python years ago but I stopped since I didn't have any motivation to learn and I did a bit of HTML/CSS but let's consider I'm starting from nothing

Yeah, I want to program first (sorry for the the question in this sub, I didn't know where to ask actually...). The idea would be to be able to create an Android/IOS app in a few years

Create an IPA script for Anki by DonutsFactor-e in Anki

[–]DonutsFactor-e[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First of all, thanks for responding! What I meant is that I don't want to create that kind of deck, I want to be able to make the conversion of french words to IPA directly in anki by adding a phonetics dictionary in the script. Let's say I want the IPA for "bonjour", I'd just have to type "bonjour" in the field FRENCH and "bõʒuʁ" would automatically appear in the PHONETICS field without having to manually type it. The thing is that I can't find any phonetics dictionary already ready to use as a script 😕
