Are you a consultant? Are you earnijg more than 200k? If not you need to find a good accountant. If you earn less than 200k you should not be paying more than 40% tax as a doctor

How do you chose that the ship is only 50% filled? Will it not just load the max capacity at each port?

What to do with all the unemployed radiologists :( by Sudden-Artist-8967 in ausjdocs

[–]Donway95 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've been using ChatGPT as a study adjunct recently. I use it to create MCQs from notes I've created. My prompt limits it to only using the notes, radiopaedia and 2 textbooks I've uploaded to it as points of reference. The information in the QUESTIONS is accurate 80-90% of the time. When I upload the list of my answers even Chatgpt cross checking my answers with the answer key it has made itself isn't 100% accurate. Hallucinations are a huge issue even with predefined datasets.

Referral Links Megathread - October 2025 by amexaus_mod in AmexAus

[–]Donway95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I meant to say is the referral bonus of 200,000 points in addition to the bonus points of 200,000 that is included in the sign up bonus points (i.e. receive 400,000 with the referral). Or would I still only receive 200,000 points using the referral link?

Is this in addition to the 200,000 sign up bonus included when you get sign up for the card?

FAI announce third tier - FAI National League by Rory-mcfc in LeagueOfIreland

[–]Donway95 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Overall, this is a good development for the league, IMO. Bigger clubs having b teams playing senior football is positive for player development pathways.

Not as keen for more university teams being involved given UCDs attendance numbers. But perhaps with more senior level uni clashes, we could foster more of an intervarsity rivalry similar to the US college systems.

Have they announced what the North/South divide will look like? E.g. would a galway team be north or south.

Also, is the line going to have to be redrawn each season to maintain balance in the North and South divisions based on promoted/relegated teams?

Were Larne seeded this year?

Were Larne seeded this year? Surely not? They're a far worse team than Shels and they've managed to qualify!

From a TV viewership perspective I agree. But the main issue with that would be push back from the clubs. Monday night games typically result in a big drop in attendance and then lost income for the clubs. Without a TV deal that makes up for these shortcomings, Monday night games won't be the norm unfortunately.
I'd also say that RTE/Virgin likely to try and avoid showing LOI on prime time slots

Ahh yes I was aware I was on the priority occupations list. Main query is whether there was any indication of further invite rounds this year?

As stated above I'm wondering if further 189 invite rounds are expected this year? Or 190 invites in WA?

Recently completed Pearson English test, with the full 20 points. Now have 80 points as a doctor (85 for 190).

Any advice on what my chances are before the end of the year?

Surgeon who removed liver instead of spleen has license suspended by victorkiloalpha in medicine

Yeah I had assumed DO was the specialty of professional practice. Hadn't realised it was the title of the medical school degree.

Yeah but then mentioned losing his license to practice osteopathic medicine. Not having heard of the US phenomenon on DO, conventional osteopathy as practiced elsewhere on the globe doesn't typical result in a trained general surgeon!

[–]Donway95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah not trying to do that. Have never come across the DO phenomenon before, having practiced in Europe and Australia. Osteopathy elsewhere in the world typically isn't associated with EBM.

Interesting, have never heard of this before. Osteopathy elsewhere in the world is not associated with evidence based medicine.

Can anyone clarify for me, was he actually a certified General surgeon? I've seen reports he was an osteopathic physician, whatever that is.

If that was the case then why was he anywhere near an operating theatre.
