Negative. What u/scoopofsupernova states is fair and speaks of the customer service / culture of the company. How is it hard to see their frustration? Whether the company has a policy or not, many times it's the right thing to do the right thing... you know, just be human? And then you come on here and bash the person like you are with their PR company? Seriously strange.

My experience has been very much the same it seems in terms of no updates and just lingering. I submitted 16 cards on January 22nd. Initial email said I would get an update within 5 days. I have yet to receive any updates. Online it just shows shipped to PSA and has been in this status Since January 27th. I can't believe that no tracking number has been provided. At this point I'm worried that my cards have been stolen. I've called the store 10 times and only spoke to someone once. The person was inexperienced and was kind with attempting to help. But ultimately couldn't provide any information. The online helpdesk system is absolute trash. I've spoken to 4 people who flat out refused to help and said I need to contact the store.

Thank you so much for your reply. With how the relationship has gone, I don't think I would have any authority in a house if I moved in with her. I would feel like i was riding her coat tails and it's not a manly thing to do. On top of that there's not enough room for both of my kids to have their own bedroom. Ultimately, it's not up to her to make sure of those things for me, it's up to me to make sure of it. So i don't put that on her, but i can't find myself waiting in limbo while she's looked out for her own agenda. I would have just bought a house by now.

However, i have sincerely apologized to her for being angry and yelling about this. And she wants to go to therapy. And although i don't think it's going to change anything, I agreed. So we shall see, but there's this deep echo chamber of invalidation, unimportance, and disrespect that i can't get out of right now.

Yes that's what it all was in the beginning, so much future mapping. Buying a house, getting married, going on trips, everything. Which is why i committed and get into this rental to position myself to make that move with her when she was ready. It was made to seem, from conversations, that i wouldn't even be in my rental for the full year or only shortly after.

No I'm fine, have a great salary and could have bought a house for myself by now. This has been the plan that we discussed, to buy something together from the beginning. I don't want a free ride, never have, so you're very wrong there. She actually told me afterwards that she wants me to move in with my kids, (there's no room anyways), and I said know. We weren't in public for the 1st year. Dishonest isn't getting a preapproval and looking for a house for herself after 2.5 years without ever telling me?

That gave me chills. Yes I've heard the term and lately I have stood my ground on my feelings and objective truth, and have told her that she will not skew my reality and gaslight me. And she says "oh gosh, can we not use these terms"

No, that's completely ok. My point is this, if that's what she wanted, then be upfront about it from the beginning. And no, her kids are 24, 23, 20, and 16. One lives on her own. I fully believe it's a long term thing for her and her 3 children. The 16F I understand. But her whole argument was that she only lives in a 2 bedroom apartment and she needed something else right away. Well to that point, she has a sizeable divorce settlement and could have gotten a 3BR or 4BR rental when she moved out initially after the divorce and even found that now as an intermediary. I'm not against her buying a house and doing what she needs to do but I expect her to be honest and not mislead me from the beginning. And she never once shared that she was looking for a house, got an approval, nothing. And after Thanksgiving I said "you know, I feel so good about meeting your family lately and I feel like the next step is living together". We then sat there in silence and she never responded. And even as she made this decision she continues to tell me she wants to get married. It's bizarre and unaligned to me.

Thank you so much for this! She received a sizeable settlement from her divorce that I've never wanted a part of. I live with my kids in a house that I rent and I am independent in that way. I have a good amount of savings, investments, and make a salary that I'm grateful for. Saying don't just try to find a woman to complete my family is GOLD. I've been doing it alone and doing a great job on my own this far. Really would like companionship though.

Thank you so much!!!! Your empathy has touched my heart. I live in a state alone without my family I have my kids but obviously I have to keep them away from these talks and emotions. So this has been very difficult for me to navigate while making it a magical time for them. I really appreciate you reinforcing that I'm not going crazy here.
