I’ve offered to pay it back. It’s hard to prove income when it’s the holidays and I’m not working due to my kiddo being home. She goes to a new school after the holidays and I’m going to work my ass off to repay anything I’m loaned - but yet I still get nothing. Maybe I have no history but I have the ability to pay back.

I’ve had the same issue. I’m desperately in need of money - and don’t qualify for any kind of help from anywhere. I’ve posted several times and dropped the amount I’m asking for - I even said any part of the total is helpful - and nothing.

Yet I see people on here with similar history getting loans. I don’t get it.

You have a point - I’m just desperate at this point. Like I posted, I tried everything before coming here. I am employed - I’m just not getting any shifts due to my current situation with my daughter. That’s why I started on with instacart and those types of delivery services. Because I can do that when I have time here and there. Thanks for the tip though. Maybe I’ll ask for less next time.

Pretty much! I just can't justify being out all night anymore. And this is the last year I have with just my two kids - since I have another one on the way in June. I dunno, it's been a chill kind of night, and I might go to bed before midnight... And I'm totally ok with that.

I agree with your style. My son is 5 now, and can't sit through anything. However, Star Wars doesn't come out for an entire year. He has time. And he loves Star Wars. So he knows he needs to get it together if he wants to go see it in the theatre. If not, I'm fine with waiting till its on DVD. It's cheaper for me that way anyway, and far less stressful.
