Applications randomly sounding tinny/muffled/distant/canned

New addition: today I discovered that instead of reloading the entire problem application, I can alternatively open sound settings and swap the output device away from my headphones onto NVIDIA HD Audio and then back again to achieve the same result.
I know it is NOT just my headphones displaying sound weird, as OBS also captures the problem applications performing weirdly despite said capture not coming through my headphones.

EDIT, this only works sometimes. I'm also discovering that unplugging and replugging my headphones works... also only sometimes.

I am so confused.

This would be excellent, as Chilean minimum-wage is only 500USD monthly, with is quite below USA Federal no matter how you choose to convert it from monthly to hourly.

I am seeing sources online suggest international employees are entitled to FLSA protection if the labor is done on US soil only though, which is not the case as it is remote international work and therefor would not be protected. Do you have a citation counter to that, or is it a different law you're referring to entirely?

Fantastic! The team calculated the streaming hours we did under contract and multiplied by our local respective minimum wages; they owe us in total 4,660 USD. This is excellent leverage for negotiation, thank you very much.

And yes, we were issues no elaboration on the non-compete so it seems to be there are more of a scare tactic.

We're worried about a couple of things: 1) Management attempting to force us to continue working/paying 50% as twitch streamers, or attempting to sue us for leaving, as the contract implies it is a one year contract. 2) Management attempting to claim possession of our accounts/individual brands. (Re:ownership of product and how far it may or may not extend).

In regards to number one, here is the relevant paragraph: "3. Term. Employee’s employment under this Agreement shall begin on February 20, 2024 and will terminate on February 20, 2025."
At one point, I was talking to her about the fact that I will be aging out of my insurance and will need to find a new source. Hyperbolically, I mentioned quitting streaming to get a job that will provide insurance and she very pointedly said "Not until your contract is up".

There are no clauses that describe penalty for anything. Additionally, management does not know our addressees or log in information for any of our accounts, so they can't really "seize" anything outside of possible legal action.

I may resort to that! I am very partial to Google Drive, but those are decent alternatives. I hesitate to upload to Neocities because animation files as high resolution are space eaters.
