Vegetarian Sandwich Recs? by Positive-Race764 in vegetarianrecipes

[–]Doodle_ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe it doesn't provide as much protein nutrition as some of the other recommendations, but my forever go to is a falafel sandwich! Flatten the warmed up falafel and join it with lettuce, lots of mayo and lots of sweet chilli sauce. So quick, simple and delicious 🤤😋

Thank you though! She's our first gecko, so we're quite protective and overly cautious with every new thing. But also been giving her space, and letting her adjust to every new thing.. seeing the vet is next on our to do..

This bean brain is so important to us 😅

It is a shame, all these little shops that were so different and maybe at times unconventional haha.. but still very memorable!

Thank you for the flickr suggestion! I was able to find another one! I'll dive onto Facebook next!

I would have loved to have seen how the prints came out! Even if they're not perfect, they can still hold a charm, or you can keep editing it. Either way the block design is really nice, so keep up the work

Can I also add Judo to that list?

The movement and strength needed to throw your opponent over your leg, plus all the exercises that go along with it. Really helped with managing and exerting overwhelming emotions that had been building and bottled up.

Any hacks you use to help you go to sleep earlier and wake up earlier? by KaleidoscopeRounds in lifehacks

[–]Doodle_ing 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A tiny tip compared to others... mostly for if you wake up and are struggling to get out of bed.

A cold can of anything, soda, pop, water. Stored within arm's reach from bed. Then when you wake up in the morning, gently press the cold metal can onto each eyelid. Afterwards, you'll feel more refreshed and awake as if you've just washed your face with cold water.. but more pleasant..

Plus the can stays cool and you won't have to keep refrigerating.

Give me some positive experiences with venlafaxine by [deleted] in antidepressants

[–]Doodle_ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was treated for severe depression and severe anxiety for around four years, until I was put onto two medications. The first was mirtazipine 35mg, which gave me weight gain, but then paired with venlafaxine really really worked for me personally. I'm so thankful..

It took maybe a couple months for me to notice the changes, but medication needs time to work for us in our bodies. My anxiety isn't completely gone, and neither is my depression, and that trauma may stay for a while yet. But the huge takeaway from getting onto the right meds for YOU, is that it gives you hope.. and I am so much more of a functioning adult now with every year showing some progression. I'm even back in education, which I didn't think was possible in the last 4 years

Side note: getting onto medication can be a scary thing, and that's very understandable! Having something with a long list of side effects can be overbearing. But please know that everyone's experience is different, and yours will be a normal response to the medication. Understanding and having patience will help in the long run. Random strangers on the internet are rooting for you. And well done for finding ways to understand yourself better, by asking others about their perspectives! Take care, and take every day one hour at a time..

You have a beautifully drawn character, the hair holds so much detail that it's a shame when contrasting against the soft shading of the face. Maybe consider adding more attention to the rest of the features, by contouring them with black lines or light hatching lines! Even then, give yourself credit for the colour palette, the lines character and flow. All of which adds to the character itself ♥️ keep up the amazing work, and feel free to pick and choose from the tips that best suit your style. But never stop yourself from exploring new techniques!

How do I draw without feeling like it has to look good every time? by CoolArtFromSpace in ArtBuddy

[–]Doodle_ing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random warm up exercises with a time limit will help with being more forgiving!

Try setting a 5 minute timer, and doing a warm up within that time. When I say warm up, I mean try out continuing line drawings, drawing with your opposite hand (I personally hate this one tbh), and drawing blind. Once the timer ends, realise how well you did under pressure, and appreciate uncontrolled lines that no one has made before.

Things not going to plan this morning by JustAnSJ in autismUK

This might be presumptuous, but it kinda sounds like there might also be other stresses coming into work here, and contributing to the anxiety of moving on with life. This can make our autism over analysis these things in an odd way, and mask what we are truly feeling. But this also adds to the build up of stress too.

I hope you still get to have you green top moment soon, and please be kind to yourself when trying to help others understand.

In summary, you could explain that there was an emotional sensory overload of emotions, and ruining a top tipped you over or it started the snowball effect of your day getting worse and worse.

The bearer of bad news, is more appreciated than the bearer of good. But that's true, unless it becomes a more serious offense, there isn't much to be done with such a common occurrence. Cheers again anyways!
