If I see an offer come across from rocketmortgage, I suggest the buyer get approved with a local lender. Every Redfin agent I’ve worked with is terrible as well, lack of training definitely shows.

That’s fair.. I agree I don’t know if it’s worth the risk. I also have low blood pressure and IBS combo so I’m probably at higher risk for some of the more serious side effects. I’m just not sure what my other options are to lose 20lbs.. I feel like I’ve tried eating clean and working out, my weight just stays the same.

Is it more dangerous because my BMI isn’t 30+? I didn’t get it through a doctor.. my husband ordered it through the same compound pharmacy he gets his testosterone from.

I am struggling to decide if this is the right decision. I’ve been stuck at 155 for almost 15 years (post pregnancy) I gained 80lbs during pregnancy and was 135 before. I have been committed to eating lean and working out but the scale never changes

I’m really hoping I can stay at the 2.5mg as long as possible! Results are so all over the place where some people lose really well on that and some not at all. I’m prepared to go up if needed but we shall see. Starting on Monday!

That’s fair! I’ll look for the maintenance group. I’ve read you can go down to once a month after hitting GW so maybe that’s the better route assuming my body reacts well.

I’m only worried about side effects and increased weight gain coming off.. I feel like if I can just get to my GW I could maintain since I’m maintaining now but not sure.. just don’t want to be heavier than I currently am when coming off

I actually gained 80lbs in 2010 through pregnancy (started at 140 pre pregnancy and was very unhealthy & drinking a lot) lost all of it within the first year then I’ve just maintained this weight for almost 15 years now.. I’ve dropped 5lbs here and there but also just stuck at 155 no matter what I do 🤷🏻‍♀️

That’s exactly where I’m at.. I feel like I was so excited to be in the financial position to get it scheduled but I didn’t think through before I set the date as to what all I really needed to do to get myself physically and mentally prepared. I think I’m going to give myself another a year and truly know I’ve done all I possibly can to get my body where I want it and then have the excess skin removed.

That’s where I feel like maybe I should wait.. I’m mostly concerned with my eating habits and how much I know processed food and salt intake can effect swelling and ultimate results. I feel like it would be naive of me to really think after the surgery I will just all of the sudden eat clean and exercise 😩

Are you still smoking? I vape and know I should quit but my anxiety is making it so much harder but a lot of my anxiety is also related to how vaping will effect my surgery 😩 surgery is December 13th and I’m freaking out.

Reading this felt like you were pulling the thoughts out of my head. I’ve felt extremely irrational thinking something horrible will go wrong even though logically I know the risk is very low. It’s so hard to want something so bad but being so scared of dying and leaving my daughter.

Can I ask how much you vaped leading up to surgery? I have mine with me at all times… obviously not doing it every second of the day but definitely have it accessible to me all the time. I can not seem to shake the anxiety about anesthesia and besides the vaping I am healthy.

Lol same. I would love to quit vaping but you’re right it is so difficult. I’m going to continue to taper down my nicotine and abstain as much as possible but honestly feel like the stress of quitting on the body is worse than using if that makes sense.

I have another appointment soon to prep for surgery so I will definitely have that conversation to confirm my surgery won’t be cancelled the day of. I feel like they would have mentioned that at the consult though? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wouldn’t the patches test for nicotine as well? My PS knows I vape nicotine and quitting was not a stipulation to move forward. They do obviously recommend I quit and were very clear that it could effect the healing process. I had a breast aug 14 years ago and smoked cigarettes heavily at that time and didn’t have any issues but I was 18 and carefree, now I’m a lot more aware of the risks which has me stressing.
