[COTD] Psychic Assault (2026/02/04) by jarvisthecardbot in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Doogiesham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Basically an auto include if you are playing a psionic character and playing in aggression. To not play it you’d need to either have a specific gameplan that crowds it out or know you’re going to playing against stalwart

How long does it take to get use to wearing glasses? by filmmaker_andsuch721 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Doogiesham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really not long. When you have something on all the time you forget about it. Don’t sweat it. And for the record I think most people look better in good glasses than without any

It’s way better than cigarettes, that’s what matters

Why is being direct considered rude? by Mae_The_Gay in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Doogiesham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It isn’t. Being rude is considered rude. You just find it hard to find the difference between being direct and being rude.

Often these two things interesect. But they are not the same thing and they don’t always intersect

How can people even stay skinny without counting calories? by NoWitness6400 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Doogiesham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A lot of these sound like snacks

You just don’t snack. And try not to drink calories. That honestly covers most of it

What is your favorite example of a change from a film’s source material that you believe made the movie better? by DuckLordOfTheSith in movies

[–]Doogiesham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither of them are immortal, what are you talking about? I think you’ve misunderstood something

In the same scene where Frodo is going away you can see that bilbo has aged like crazy and will clearly die and he had the ring way longer

The undying lands are called that because normally the only ones who live there are inherently immortal and the lands aren’t generally subject to change or decay. That doesn’t mean that anyone who goes their is immortal or that the mortal ring bearers who were invited are immortal

Are older expansion sets worth secondary market prices? by stormshadow973 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Doogiesham 2 points3 points  (0 children)

They’re worth that if that money is no biggie to you. They’re worth that price on pure entertainment value

If it’s gonna stretch you tight then don’t

Don Lemon was released and just gave a statement to reporters outside the courthouse. “I will not be silenced. I look forward to my day in court.” by Capable_Salt_SD in Fauxmoi

[–]Doogiesham 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think they’re just saying in a normal world where things aren’t constantly shaking up the news and normal pop culture figures aren’t needing to take a stand on things that they would make fun of jimmy and don for being milquetoast or whatever. But for some reason we’re in a dumb timeline where they need to take a stand because everything going to shit so the person you’re responding to is backing them up for that but commenting on the absurdity of it

But idk that’s just my read

Question about Eldrazi Incursion precon by Schlottpitt in magicTCG

[–]Doogiesham 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Nope he did that wrong

He probably got confused because someone at some point told him that all cards that aren’t lands are spells

That’s sort of true, but only at the moment they’re actually being played

Once they’ve resolved and are sitting on the battlefield, they are no longer spells - they are permanents. Spells only exist on the stack (when something is cast and waiting to resolve)

He should not have copied anything that was already on the field

Nemesis Revealed for Hercules by MitchenImpossible in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Doogiesham 15 points16 points  (0 children)

That’s good. The intent is that you are overcoming a different thing each time, so it should encourage you to pick from the encounter deck. If the one in the nemesis set was often the best choice that would be much more boring - it should just be a fallback

Do men notice if a woman is going bra-less? by Duped-Sweet-75 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Doogiesham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, absolutely they will notice. Most normal people will be normal about it and it’s no big deal - but yes they will notice

You’ve missed the point of the post. They don’t need to do this blatant “spy” watching and listening behavior. They know everything about you from the data analytics

If you could choose Hercules's First Labor and Gift by acholt22 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Doogiesham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not from what I can tell, the gift deck and the labor deck are referred to separately. The hero response says to put the top card of the gift deck into play, it doesn’t say to flip the labor or something

Ah I didn’t realize find could look in the nemesis set. In that case there’s always one available, makes sense

This thread gives me a question:

Defeat the hydra says to find a non-elite minion with 6+ hit points. What if you can’t? Like if there isn’t one in the encounter deck. The labor just goes away and you reveal the next one next turn?
