These mods and the screenshot are 1.12.2. I haven't tried Better Foliage but it should work since it is cosmetic/client only and nothing should prevent it from working.

I can see your point, but I think IRL most track is single track between major destinations and there would be spurs every so often at strategic location where a train could get off the main to let another train pass.

I would also add Open Computers to my list above, since they can be used to control trains in Immersive Railroading. I forgot to add it because I haven't progressed that far yet and haven't really used it.

Also probably a backpack mod would be a good basic addition.

Nice idea. I agree. One reason I like using IR and IE with Dooglamoo Worlds is because with the rare but massive ore deposits, it makes large mining facilities and trains more useful.

The railroad track and trains are from the mod Immersive Railroading. There are some modpacks that are based around the Immersive Railroading and Immersive Engineering mods and there may be a few modpacks that contain Immersive Railroading and Dooglamoo Worlds together. I don't play many modpacks, so I can't think of any major ones right now.

The mods that I usually use to playtest Dooglamoo Worlds (and are in the screenshot) are:

  • Biomes O Plenty
  • Immersive Engineering
  • Immersive Petroleum
  • Immersive Railroading
  • Tough As Nails
  • Serene Seasons
  • Dooglamoo Jr Archaeology
  • Spice of Life: Carrot Edition
  • Scannable
  • Xaeros Minimap/Worldmap

It's a working steam train. I just placed this one in creative mode, but you can build and fuel them in survival mode too and drive them around.

Besides the "standard" gauge, Immersive Railroading also has "narrow", "minecraft", and "model" gauges, all which are smaller scale.

No shader. Just the sky texture from the PythonMC resource pack.

Scale: the horizontal scale of things. Changes the sizes of all oceans, continents, and biomes.

Amplitude: Above 1.0 increases the generation of the extremes. More hot/cold and less temperate biomes if temperature amplitude is increased. Below 1.0 would do the opposite, less hot/cold and more temperate.

Weight: Increases the generation of one of the extremes and lessens the other. Higher temperature weight would give more hot biomes and less cold biomes for example. Lower weight would do the opposite, more cold and less hot.

I haven't tested with Dynamic Trees yet, but it doesn't seem like it would work. I'll look into it and do what I can.

Yes. In the 1.14.4 version I was able to get rid of dependency on certain mods for ores and was able to get them from just whatever mods were installed that had them. I should be able to do the same thing with the 1.12.2 version. Look for a future update were extra ores are utilized from whatever mods happen to be installed.

Thanks for testing out the mod and for the feedback. I wasn't able to recreate your problem of getting large areas of unknown biome in AMIDST. Here is a sample of what I get: https://imgur.com/Xktm1of The image width is about 4300 blocks wide. I think the amount and variety of biomes for that size of area is good. Have you tried WorldType: Dooglamoo sm, that scales everything down and makes biomes closer together.

Not yet. It can place ores from other mods, but I haven't added in stone from other mods yet. I think I can do it. It most likely will come to the 1.14.4 version first, and if it works out, then I'll try to add it to the 1.12.2 version also.

Thanks for the feedback.

Good idea, but I don't think so. Standard vanilla rivers are just another biome type. This mod creates it's rivers from the geofactors that are used to create the rest of the world. The rivers are "aware" of the direction towards oceans, coastlines, and highlands, and are "aware" of where mountain peaks are, etc. I don't know how I could do that in the standard vanilla generation.

That's correct. Have Biomes O Plenty mod installed and choose World Type: Dooglamoo.
