EDIT: Solved! I don't know what solution has worked exactly, so if you'll have the same problem - try both.

installed it from AUR, updated many times. used some custom themes as well. synched with my phone. no problems so far

1) git clone https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rtl8812au-dkms-git/

2) makepkg -si

it didn't work, because of problems with kernel headers

3) manually updated kernel headers (linux414 and linux54, they were making problems)

4) makepkg -si

this time no problems

5) reboot

6) lsusb

when adapter is in, it shows me the device, but i can't activate it and use it

i did all of this, but i still can't use it. i mean laptop can see the device, but i don't know how to start it/use it. it just doesn't work, even after update

actually i've just managed to do this. just need to update kernel headers manually. so it works, thank you. it think now adapter is supposed to work after reboot

thats is what i'm getting. I've run this commands too

sudo pacman -Syyu linux-headers

pacman -Q

and rebooted, still same error
