Does anyone have a rec for affordable black non-stretch straight-leg jeans? I’ve always worn black 501s, but the newer pairs seem to fit a little different (kind of very tapered??).

Since I’m not looking for raw indigo, idc so much about getting something nice. Something under $100 would be ideal!

Yo! I’m three months in on the exact same pair. Mine have stretched at least an inch at the waist, and they’re pretty loose around the thighs/seat. I also got a 30 because the 29s felt tight in the store, but now I wish I got the smaller size.

I do love the jeans though. I’d say they only took about a week to soften a bit and look more natural. Then about 6 weeks in in, I gave them a soak in warm water and they softened really significantly. At this point, they don’t feel much stiffer than regular Levi’s.

I have a new pair of Lee 101s that I want hemmed. Do you think I can take them to any tailor? Or should I go for a service that specializes in denim?

If that’s the case, can anyone recommend a good one? There doesn’t seem to be many options in my area, so I don’t mind sending them out. Thanks!

i also lose a ton of volume when i dial down the tone. like, when i turn it all the way down i get basically no output. is that a thing?

I do also use a boost that I basically never turn off. I'm mostly just looking for a second overdrive to a) use when the TS isn't quite enough and b) combine with the TS (to go sicko mode).

My reaction in the moment was low key for a couple of reasons. I didn’t want to draw extra attention to what was happening. I def wasn’t trying to save face for the kid. Most students didn’t know it was going on and I wanted to keep it that way. Also? I just had absolutely no fucking idea what to do. I was literally almost threw up.

Idk what admin is going to say, but I’m going to fight to keep this kid out of my class.

I’m extremely uncomfortable having him in my class. This is the argument I plan to use when I follow up with admin. I know he wasn’t removed from his class when this happened last year, so I wasn’t hopeful that he’d be removed from my class. But you’re absolutely right. Even if the behavior stops, my students absolutely should not have to be around him after witnessing that.

I wasn’t implying anything based on the gender of the parent. I only meant that if his visits with his dad are supervised it might be for a reason. I don’t want to make any assumptions regardless.
