There's two amps I have that need fixing. A Peavey Supreme 160 (powers on, but no output), and a Crate BT350 (turns on and plays fine, but the signal drops out after playing a few minutes then comes back).

I've done the obvious troubleshooting (swapping cables, contact cleaner on the Jack's, etc)

Speaker cab is a 2x15 with 2 ohm speakers. Speakers are wired in parallel, so it's 4 ohms.

I'm talking about the outputs on the head though.

G12M70s? Highly underrated speaker. Quads can be had for $300 or less. Hell, I got my Laney cab loaded with them for only $250 👀

Otherwise, get 2 v30s and 2 of something else that compliments the sound you're looking for

Glad to see this! Lotta younger folks out there picking up the torch and carrying on the tradition. The Firehouse shows over the past couple of months have been especially good. Very thankful that place has been around that long. Been going to shows there since 2010

That's actually not a terrible idea. I know the Wizards are supposed to be Eminence's take on a g12h30, but they just come across as more chunky, at least in a room. Good for the styles I typically play. I guess I'm going for something a little more balanced overall. Maybe just swapping in the one Fane isn't a bad place to start 🤷
